For a meal when I can’t be bothered I’d make a fish finger sandwich.

I always just make something with what there is in the fridge, going by what needs using up first. I do this even if I don’t fancy it because I hate waste.

Tin of peas, or sweet corn, naked beans, no need to heat it up. Just add the source of your choice. Red or Brown or Hot

season, anyway. Or apples and peanut butter is nice.

Crackers. Toast. Almonds & raisins. A lump of cheese. Yogurt with raisins or jam.

Rice and egg. Every time. My go-to when I can't be arsed is fried rice with freezer veg and egg. Lots of chili and soy. Yum. I would live on it if I lived alone.

When I was single nothing.
But now I have a family I force myself to make something quick.and healthy as possible.
A jacket potato is a good option. But a quick stirfry, shakshouka, pesto pasta etc are some go tos.

Tuna with mayo and cheese on any kind of soft bread. Real butter on one side, the tuna mix on the other. Slap together, catch the drips and enjoy.
