I ask my adult DC what he’s got stashed in his room, he normal comes to my rescue with a Lindt Father Christmas he bulk bought in the sales.

S0livagant · 09/07/2024 22:34

If I didn’t want to eat anything then I wouldn't say I was hungry.

ltappleby · 09/07/2024 22:39

I had it tonight! Toast, cheese and a packet of barbecue Hula Hoops

mondaytosunday · 09/07/2024 22:45

Toast some bread, put a bit of ketchup on it, then some cheddar cheese and grill til light brown. Yum! Add chorizo for extra kick.

Yup, slice of toast, got to be granary and proper Cornish butter.

I'm Cornish and no other butter will do. Are you too?

Green777 · 09/07/2024 23:03

Crackers, cheese, grapes

TwoBlueFish · 09/07/2024 23:17

Toast (preferably a thick crust) with butter and honey or marmite (depending if I’m craving sweet or savoury)

Noseybookworm · 09/07/2024 23:29

Cheese or cheese and onion toasties with hot sauce to dip them in 🥰

You make an excellent point...

IAlwaysTellTheTruthEvenWhenILie · 10/07/2024 06:29

Porridge. I put cottage cheese, maple syrup, walnuts, dark chocolate drops, cocoa powder, chia seeds and strawberries or cherries in it too. Tastes great and it's about 400 calories so a proper meals worth

EsmeShelby · 10/07/2024 06:31

Toast

theriseandfallofFranklinSaint · 10/07/2024 07:27

Takeaway.

Hell, we sometimes have something in the slow cooker ready to eat but decide we don't fancy it then order a takeaway!

Failing that, cereal. I don't eat breakfast so cereal is quite the treat!

RobinEllacotStrike · 10/07/2024 07:33

Greek yoghurt, whatever fruit is lingering, toasted slivered almonds on top.

CurlewKate · 10/07/2024 07:35

Cook some macaroni al dente. In a bowl with a blob of Philadelphia and some grated cheddar and some frozen peas. Microwave 2 minutes. Stir in a ton of black pepper, hot sauce or other seasoning of choice.

Practically instant macaroni cheese. You can thank me later. Oh, and do double the macaroni so you can do it again the next day for even instanter.

RobinEllacotStrike · 10/07/2024 07:35

Last night I made a dip with Greek yog, spring onion, jalapeño, parsley & coriander, tomato, garlic, chilli, grated cheese & ate it with some crackers.

RenoDakota · 10/07/2024 07:46

McCain jacket potato with cheese or tuna mayonnaise. Or both.
I always have those things in the house, without fail.
