The lip fillers. Especially the upside-down ones where the top lip is bigger than the bottom.

I’m sure some are fine, but the ones I see just look swollen and sore. I know one person who has them lopsided so she looks like Mary from Hocus Pocus.

Yes, reminds me of Moe from the Simpsons.

petermaddog · 07/07/2024 16:18

"sliders

Jellycats4life · 07/07/2024 16:19

One thing I don’t get about scrunchy bum gym leggings is what underwear goes underneath to create that bum crack effect? Surely not a thong… or commando?!

"sliders" were made for prisones cheaper than anything and are called shower shoes same with flipflops

Alwaystimeforacupoftea · 07/07/2024 16:21

I still wear my white leather trainers, think they look nice with a long dress, but not floral as I'm over prints.

If you avoid the denim/floral/white trainer combo, each of those things can be worn on its own without being offensive IMO.

Not in the same league as nude tops or leggings which make you want to crash the car as you think someone's gone out without their clothes on!

Alwaystimeforacupoftea · 07/07/2024 16:23

Perhaps controversially, I'm also over 'midi' length. Fed up of seeing midi on everyone and everything, just looks a bit tired now. Prefer maxi or above the knee/mini.

Alwaystimeforacupoftea · 07/07/2024 16:23

Midi dresses are not painful to look at though, unlike puffer fish lips!

3luckystars · 07/07/2024 16:24

Those huge, thick, heavy fake eyelashes, they look so unhygienic and dirty.

Im all for false eyelashes but the really thick ones are awful, I had eye infections growing up so they make me feel sick when I see them, imagining all the germs and dirt.
They are disgusting.

Turq · 07/07/2024 16:26

Not a fan of the loose short sleeve printed shirt with matching baggy pants “resort” look

Crispynoodle · 07/07/2024 16:26

Every single 'dress' on the girls in love island and, since I'm on holiday thong bikinis

All the plastic surgery fakery, but especially filler. I switched on Netflix last week and watched Nicole Kidman's bizarre face during A Family Affair and I was horrified. She was a beautiful woman when younger, but now her face has so much filler and botox that her once lovely features are all disappearing as more and more filler is pumped in to decrease the lines. Couple with the fact that she can no longer emote as the frozen botox has made her face very mask like... Not to mention the really obvious looking wig she was wearing throughout.

Equally horrifying was her costar Zac Efron, who has had some sort of chin implant and has a totally different face today.

WTF?

Thank God for Frances McDormand & Kate Winslet!

Actually Zac efron was in an accident and had to have his face rebuilt

maxi dresses would swamp me, and I’m not wearing a mini skirt, 😂

Some odd ideas on here. I wonder what ppl wear, I think it is great to sit behind a keyboard pulling apart other’s choices. It is subjective, we all have different body shapes and suit different things. Why do you even care about how others dress? I bet for every person you criticise there are more criticising your right back.
If you drive up to the school run, yes you can dress a certain way, or not. If you’re walking fast paced /jogging, than leggings T-shirt are appropriate, to pick up the dc. Why do you care? I wear sports wear often to the school and for comfort when I’m walking alot , I’m very slim, and it is underwhelming.

YouOKHun · 07/07/2024 16:34

Frilly, puffed, tiered dresses with too much fabric that wear the person lost inside them. I tried one on under pressure from a friend and just looked like a deranged Little Bo Peep and about three sizes bigger than I am.

Nude coloured leggings, nude coloured skinny tops. The tops make people look like tailors dummies. The bottoms make me do a double take as if someone hasn’t bothered dressing at all.

Over filled lips that move in a disconcerting way (if they move at all). Done well these procedures can be great but they are so often done badly. Harsh Sharpie eyebrows of a colour chosen from a B&Q paint chart.

Can I just celebrate, and I know this was in fashion quite a while ago but I’m still celebrating, the demise of the donkey hoof platform court shoe.

Caveat: I’m no fashion plate myself

JaneJeffer · 07/07/2024 15:10

They're doing half tuck now @PuppyMonkey

Half cut more like.Grin

RatHole · 07/07/2024 16:37

Lip fillers.
So many young women even in my rural neck of the wood who think it’s a good look is just tragic.
They look truly awful.

ruethewhirl · 07/07/2024 16:38

PuppyMonkey · 07/07/2024 14:52

Are people still doing French tucks or whatever they’re called? Everyone tucking the front bit of a top in and leaving the back untucked. That looks proper silly to me. Most things people wear at the moment look odd but the French tuck is particularly baffling.

Also that thing where people sort of twist the front of their top over to make it midriff-exposing, I've seen a lot of that on teenage girls. Don't know if it has a name.

Turq · 07/07/2024 16:39

I’m sticking with dresses and trainers (along with jeans and trainers). I can’t walk far in flats without getting calf pain, and I walk a lot.

AutumnLeaves1990 · 07/07/2024 16:41

Turkey teeth, Basketball boobs, unnatural lip fillers. Tight flesh coloured leggings that look like you're naked.

LakeTiticaca · 07/07/2024 16:42

I used to livee high waisted jeans when I still had a waist (pre menopause)
I used to love flares as well, very flattering to the figure

XChrome · 07/07/2024 16:42

BoudiccaOfSuburbia · 07/07/2024 12:37

Those up-your-arse crinkly seam leggings

I I am also not a fan of the tiered, frilled, puffed sleeved frocks that the shops are full of.

Yes! Those are the worst.

KnittedCardi · 07/07/2024 16:43

I'm doomed. Love a high waist skinny jean with a French tuck blouse and trainers. Also wear trainers and skirts or dresses, but not tiered or flowery if that helps! I wear sandals, often high, if sitting about, but if schlepping around London, trainers are a must.

Other than that, I am very well behaved. Or not..... No make up, or fake anything, don't even dye my white hair.... Judge away.

NotATory · 07/07/2024 16:45

Animal print! Only looks good on animals.

How much longer to suffer this Bet Lynch look?
It's bloody everywhere.

XChrome · 07/07/2024 16:47

Those cut out dresses where the bottoms of the boobs are exposed or there are just strips covering private areas. I don't object to nudity, but they are flattering on nobody.
Bell bottom flared legs on pants. A flare that wide just looks silly.

henlake7 · 07/07/2024 16:48

Beige everything...

dont get me wrong, I love abit of beige but having a wardrobe and house that is entirely beige?
no thanks.
