Pasta with a tiny bit of butter and grated cheddar.
just recovering from food poisoning so it’s the first thing I’ve attempted to eat in over 3 days. I wanted bland and safe

Does people really make their own pizzas? Confused Much cheaper and easier to get ready-made from the supermarket!

Edited

pretty little effort to make your own to be honest, even less if you have a stand mixer. I reckon my usual recipe works out at £3 for 4 people including salad.

Baby new potatoes, chicken wings in a barbecue sauce and stir fry veg. (peppers, mushrooms, onions) in a soy sauce.

@Vhagar apparently it is quite high in vitamin A, so best avoided. Though they change the guidance all the time so maybe 14 years ago it wasn't on the list?

@muddyford it's bashed up peppercorns, beef stock, double cream and a dash of whisky...boil the stock, peppercorns and whisky until boiling, then add the double cream and whisk until it thickens up...I'd love to give you the quantities, but DH has been making it for years so just eyeballs it now and knows.

I am having nothing (Mounjaro has taken away my appetite) rest of the fam are having homemade quiche Lorraine with salad and possibly chips.

I wish it would do that for me! Just finished my first 4 weeks so go up a dose tomorrow - so far, very little noticeable change 😣

Ditto - this sounds perfect

I made it up.

Saute spring onions, garlic and ginger in oil with a little sesame oil.
Add yellow Thai curry paste. Cook for a minute or two.
Add diced butternut squash (ideally left-over roasted, but fine if not)
2 tins chickpeas
Cook for a bit (20 minutes)
Finish with frozen peas, spinach, coconut milk , soy sauce, peanut butter and lime juice

For the baby corn I just sautéed some tinned whole baby corns in chili oil with sesame and deep fried shallots.

We eat this sort of thing a lot on weeknights so it's mostly store-cupboard stuff and on the table in under 40 mins.
