So, who else had no idea vaginal haemorrhoids were a thing?!

Because I didn’t!!

Cystocele, rectocele, these are all delights that had never occurred in my imagination until now. And I thought I had it bad having an episiotomy with Thing 1 and tearing with Thing 2…

Loving my post-third-baby body less and less at the moment. Yeesh.

I’m not calling them vaginal haemorrhoids. Vaginal haemorrhoids are a separate, no less unpleasant but still very real, thing.

Oh my god.

I was just listing the apparently numerous ways my nether regions are now messed up after babies. Cystocele AND rectocele AND (as I have discovered to my horror this evening) vaginal haemorrhoids. None of which I had been aware of existing until I had them.

Do you understand now or are you still confused?

OP posts:
AngeloMysterioso · 04/07/2024 23:16

Oh, and regular haemorrhoids. But I already knew about those.

I'm sorry you have this OP, but your posts were very confusing for me too! I hope you can get it sorted.

Feeling a bit sorry for @Catmummyof2 who's had her head bitten off! Your OP is super confusing without the clarification

plainjayne8282 · 04/07/2024 23:32

So what are they?

I thought haemorrhoids were sections of bowel that protruded from the rectum?

Can you explain what vaginal haemorrhoids are?

moleeye · 04/07/2024 23:32

Yep agreed.

Super unclear OP, then very snarky comments to @Catmummyof2 who was being perfectly reasonable.

Dressinggowntime · 04/07/2024 23:36

I knew what you meant op. Yep they’re crap. I’ve got a low grade one that swells up during my period. Very uncomfortable

Probably not as well as Google can

I'd be snappy too if I had haemorrhoids in my vagina

Damn right I’m snarky, I’ve just discovered I’ve got vaginal fucking haemorrhoids and the first response I got in a moany thread about it was someone who seemed to be repeatedly suggesting I’m too stupid to know the difference between them and cystocele/rectocele.

If you’re going to describe my posts as nonsensical you should first learn to spell it.

theveryhungrybum · 04/07/2024 23:46

For the record, I was very confused as well.

DixonD · 04/07/2024 23:50

This is why I’m grateful every day for my C Section (and yes, I know that doesn’t guarantee these issues don’t arise as some crop up in pregnancy regardless. I assume that not having to push greatly helps avoid them though).

Hope you get them sorted. Sounds horrible. Never heard of them before either.

FreebieWallopFridge · 04/07/2024 23:50

Well. This has gone well, hasn’t it?

(I also agree - the OP wasn’t clear)

plainjayne8282 · 04/07/2024 23:50

@AngeloMysterioso Ah, scraping the barrel a bit, criticising my spelling.

However, if you look at it, you'll see that it's obviously as a typo as opposed to a spelling error.

But well done, you were close!

Hope it made you feel better.

I hope swearing at me and insulting me when I’ve just discovered a fairly horrifying situation happening to my body made YOU feel better.
