So, who else had no idea vaginal haemorrhoids were a thing?!

Because I didn’t!!

Cystocele, rectocele, these are all delights that had never occurred in my imagination until now. And I thought I had it bad having an episiotomy with Thing 1 and tearing with Thing 2…

Loving my post-third-baby body less and less at the moment. Yeesh.

You poor love, it was a sign of endo for me.

Ok well to me it seemed like you were being condescending, because I do indeed know the difference between the three, and I told you I did and that they were separate and that I was not lumping them all together (no pun intended) as the same thing, and you just kept on saying I was, and I lost patience. But I didn’t make any personal remarks about you or insult you, and I didn’t “reap” being called a stroppy cow and I definitely didn’t “reap” being told to fuck right off.

Can we leave it there please?

My mother would have loved you. She never forgave me for being male. I didn't half half to apologise for it, bless her. 😂

Pineapple/javelin arse was about the only thing that pregnancy improved about my body, it used to be a monthly agony but I haven't had it since! I hope the baby cuddles are making the horror somewhat bearable.

Ah they were, and he’s delightfully squishy, but now he’s teething so I’m dealing with him biting on my nipples with painful regularity 😬

Motherhood is a blessing, motherhood is a blessing, motherhood is a blessing…

Way to take over a thread and kick someone when they are down. Can't you at least acknowledge the OP is feeling lousy right now and your pile on just seems unnecessary now, you have said your piece but you just won't let it go!

OP it sounds awful and I do hope there are treatments to help. I'm sure you were feeling lousy and not exactly proof reading for perfect explanations when you just wanted some support. I'm sure the majority understand that.

I hope things improve soon.

Being male. It was enough. For as long as I can remember (and I'm going back to when I was about six now) she used to tell me about the suffering of women. Oh the joy she must have felt when I was old enough to be told about periods, and how that was something else I would never understand the misery of (she was right, I don't, and I don't 'go there' either as I am hard-wired to know I got off lightly, being a man. 😅).

@AngeloMysterioso

You're being disingenuous.

You started a thread asking if people know about something, because you didn't and have only just found out.

I asked you what it was, and you palmed me off the Google.

Come on now, you know that was rude, inappropriate and a bit odd.

If I were you I would delete this thread, and start a new one, with a clean slate and a better attitude.

I'm sure you will get some more helpful replies.

She “palmed” you off on google because if you can’t get the gist from the name “vaginal hemorrhoids” then a vague description from a new sufferer isn’t going to help you. What you need is a page like this:
https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/rectocele/symptoms-causes/syc-20353414
Which you would have easily found by typing a few letters into your browser if you weren’t too busy trying to kick someone who’s already having a hard time.

There is no such thing as ‘vaginal harmorrhoids’ . Harmorrhoids are by definition dilated veins of the lower rectal venous plexus within the anal cushions

It’s a made up term.

You were the one who got it wrong. You misread the OP and when she pointed out she hadn’t made a mistake you insisted she had instead of taking a step back and rereading in the light of what you’d been told. Leave the poor woman alone.

You really seem so oblivious that you are just pushing and pushing, it's not necessary.

And being in pain is an excuse sometimes, im sorry but as someone who has suffered severe chronic pain for 15+ years, sometimes a bit of leniency should be given. It's about accepting that sometimes people are really struggling and can't be at their best 100% of the time.

HollyKnight · 05/07/2024 00:54

Are you talking about varicose veins maybe? Hemorrhoids occur within the rectum. If you are feeling/seeing them protrude from your vagina it will likely be because of the pelvic organ collapse.

Haemorrhoids are specific to the anus. Vulval/vaginal varicosities are common tho. I’ve got one, can’t say it’s causing me at discomfort tho. What have you been recommended to try? When mine were bigger a really thick sanitary towel held up with two pairs of pants really helped. Pressure is key!

Ok so my absurd train of thought about their appearance put me in mind of the predators in Alien vs Predator with their weird little teeth things coming out of their face around their mouth and now I can’t stop laughing. My foof looks like a predator’s face!! Bad times…

I hope your undercarriage recovers quickly OP.

TheBigStrawberry · 05/07/2024 02:21

I can't work out if I have this. Pregnant with my third right now and I have a lump on my labia at the bottom of my vagina. I thought it was a Bartholin cyst but it could be a varicose vein? It's only really noticeable when I sit or squat..

AlpacalypseLlamaggedon · 05/07/2024 02:33

I'm not sure describing 'A pile on' is a sensitive way to comment on this particular thread.

Feel better soon OP.
