So, who else had no idea vaginal haemorrhoids were a thing?!

Because I didn’t!!

Cystocele, rectocele, these are all delights that had never occurred in my imagination until now. And I thought I had it bad having an episiotomy with Thing 1 and tearing with Thing 2…

Loving my post-third-baby body less and less at the moment. Yeesh.

Not really @AngeloMysterioso.

I'd never be rude to somebody unprovoked. But I will snap back if someone is rude to me for no reason.

So there we go.

Sorry to hear about your health issues.

theveryhungrybum · 04/07/2024 23:58

You set the tone @AngeloMysterioso, everyone else just followed suit.

Seriously? I made a quip about Google and you responded by calling me a stroppy cow and telling me to fuck off. Hardly like for like is it

Well it didn’t seem like you were trying to help, it seemed like you were being pedantic and suggesting I didn’t know what was happening to my own body.

@AngeloMysterioso

You're being disingenuous.

You started a thread asking if people know about something, because you didn't and have only just found out.

I asked you what it was, and you palmed me off the Google.

Come on now, you know that was rude, inappropriate and a bit odd.

If I were you I would delete this thread, and start a new one, with a clean slate and a better attitude.

I'm sure you will get some more helpful replies.

Literally any reply would be more helpful than your contributions thus far.

All I would have done in response to your question (assuming you were looking for something more detailed than “lumps of flesh protruding from ones foof”) was copy and paste something after a Google search, and I am certain you are capable of doing that on your own.

It was really just meant to be a jokey rant and now I’ve been piled on and insulted and told to fuck off.

I have to say, after a very brief think I understood your OP. And no, I hadn't heard of them til then either. I hope you have some sort of treatment plan? I discovered with my thing 2 that if you have sufficiently bad spd it's possible to sprain a hip.

It was just a list. The vaginal haemorrhoids is item 1, cystocele and rectocele (being a continuation of the list), items 2 and 3. I told you they were a separate thing and you continued to bash on about it. I apologise if my OP was not clear enough. But I really don’t think I’ve earned the personal remarks and insults that have followed.

This is why I’m grateful every day for my C Section (and yes, I know that doesn’t guarantee these issues don’t arise as some crop up in pregnancy regardless. I assume that not having to push greatly helps avoid them though).

Hope you get them sorted. Sounds horrible. Never heard of them before either.

Yep. I rarely regret my c section apart from the overhang

But no, l didn’t realise vaginal haemorrhoids were a thing 🙈

YourSpleenIsDamp · 05/07/2024 00:22

I thought the OP was clear. And I remember I felt pretty grumpy with my nethers falling apart too (similarly but not as badly). No useful advice, just sympathy and solidarity.

EBearhug · 05/07/2024 00:22

plainjayne8282 · 04/07/2024 23:32

So what are they?

I thought haemorrhoids were sections of bowel that protruded from the rectum?

Can you explain what vaginal haemorrhoids are?

Haemarrhoids are basically anal varicose veins, so I would assume vaginal haemarrhoids are the same, just different location.

No idea about treatment, I literally just made this discovery this evening. Can’t say I was too thrilled but the support on this thread has cheered me right up 😂

I haven’t had SPD but I did get what I came to refer to as arse daggers with #3 and they haven’t gone away either!

Pineapple/javelin arse was about the only thing that pregnancy improved about my body, it used to be a monthly agony but I haven't had it since! I hope the baby cuddles are making the horror somewhat bearable.

Oh god, lay off. You've made your point. Leave the woman and her bits in peace.

RantyMcRanterton · 05/07/2024 00:31

Oh GOD javelin arse. The very best thing about meno is that no periods = no javelin arse. Don't miss that stabby bastard one little bit.
