So, who else had no idea vaginal haemorrhoids were a thing?!

Because I didn’t!!

Cystocele, rectocele, these are all delights that had never occurred in my imagination until now. And I thought I had it bad having an episiotomy with Thing 1 and tearing with Thing 2…

Loving my post-third-baby body less and less at the moment. Yeesh.

You were the one who got it wrong. You misread the OP and when she pointed out she hadn’t made a mistake you insisted she had instead of taking a step back and rereading in the light of what you’d been told. Leave the poor woman alone.

I second this!

I'm not sure describing 'A pile on' is a sensitive way to comment on this particular thread.

Feel better soon OP.

That's exactly what I was thinking. 😂

Dressinggowntime · 05/07/2024 06:44

Bloody hell, there’s a lot of grumpy women on here. Have you all bashed your haemorrhoids on litter bins 🤣

Damn right I’m snarky, I’ve just discovered I’ve got vaginal fucking haemorrhoids and the first response I got in a moany thread about it was someone who seemed to be repeatedly suggesting I’m too stupid to know the difference between them and cystocele/rectocele.

Perhaps you should have read about every possible post-pregnancy complications and 'body presents' before embarking on your journey of motherhood, rather than snapping the head off those who were trying to decipher your badly worded post

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 05/07/2024 08:05

I have no experience to share but I did understand the OP - it seemed perfectly clear. No need for all the snarkiness! Hope you feel better soon, OP.

Next time I’ll write like I’m explaining it to a small child, since that’s apparently the level of comprehension some people have. Thanks for coming!

Well done

BTW, you have not explained what vaginal haemorrhoids are.You clearly are an expert, yet want us to google it (BTW, only one mention of vaginal haemorrhiods from a non-medical site, so...)

I think it's varicose veins. That's what I think I've got.

Foolosophy · 05/07/2024 09:19

How long since you gave birth, OP? If less than three months I’m say there’s a good chance your body will correct this problem itself. If not, see a gynecologist. Do you/did you have a six week checkup after giving birth? I’m guessing nothing was mentioned then by the doctor?

Sorry to derail completely but I’m so puzzled by “javelin arse” or “pineapple arse”. Where I’m from (not UK) this phenomenon is completely unknown/never talked about! What is it??

Ok so my absurd train of thought about their appearance put me in mind of the predators in Alien vs Predator with their weird little teeth things coming out of their face around their mouth and now I can’t stop laughing. My foof looks like a predator’s face!! Bad times…

Vagina dentata...

Proctalgia fugax- cramping rroundthe rectum. Some women are prone to it round their periods, as you can discover on many menstrual threads in MN.

How am I clearly an expert? I’ve never made that claim. Pretty sure I said I’d only just found them last night. I’m a quick learner but going from not knowing they existed to being clearly an expert in such a short space of time is beyond even my capability.

In my case, with arse daggers I’m referring to shooting pains in my buttocks. They just come out of nowhere!
