It's general election day for the Playmobil people in our house.

Here are this year's candidates. From left to right:- Michael the beach policeman (Law and order party), Emilia (Fashion accessories party), Jack Jellyhead (Legalise robbery party) Norman the foreman (Tea drinking and lifesaving party), Deepika (Keep fit party) and Seiji (DIY party).

Will Norman the foreman and the Tea drinking and lifesaving party remain in power? We will have to find out! The population of Playmoland will soon be arriving to cast their votes.

The polling station will open at 7 am.

I also have a sausage thief.

Although word on’t street is that Paulette took a wee backhander from the Daily Mobizzette to create a dynamic dogs at polls pic that could go on the front page. Especially aa Apollo has a bit of form.

Got to be Emilia. And I must say there are some very well presented voters out today, they scrub up remarkably well. And what an occasion!

So happy I found this thread before the polls close. I was unsure, but have been swayed to Norman by his acceptance of non-tea drinking folks and the promise of biscuits.

Running in to vote because I forgot - and havent read about the candidates, or issues or anything - but going to vote for fashion accessories party because I like the look of them - unfortunately think there are really some people like this. Brilliant thread!

Patrick has just been to vote. Dinesh asks him which way he has voted. He says "I was thinking of voting DIY, but Norman is a builder after all, so I've gone for tea/lifesaving."

Wish I could believe in our political candidates as much as I know I can trust Norman.
