Here are this year's candidates. From left to right:- Michael the beach policeman (Law and order party), Emilia (Fashion accessories party), Jack Jellyhead (Legalise robbery party) Norman the foreman (Tea drinking and lifesaving party), Deepika (Keep fit party) and Seiji (DIY party).

Will Norman the foreman and the Tea drinking and lifesaving party remain in power? We will have to find out! The population of Playmoland will soon be arriving to cast their votes.

The polling station will open at 7 am.

You'll be pleased to hear that after all his hard work campaigning and forming a cabinet, Norman is relaxing today with a Brew and a Biscuit Smile

Go Norman, he knows how to live! Brew

Well I did say many things run on tea, the government should be no exception.

NooNakedJacuzziness · 07/07/2024 16:58

Does Upping Street have its own version of Larry the cat?

SoMuchToBits · 07/07/2024 17:38

@NooNakedJacuzziness no, they don't seem to have adopted any pets there...

I hope no life saving emergencies interrupted the tea drinking and biscuit eating

SoMuchToBits · 07/07/2024 17:46

Fortunately not @Emmacb82 . They have had a nice quiet day. Back to business tomorrow I expect! Smile

I can't believe I only found this thread too late to vote. Glad to see common sense prevailed in the Playmobil vote and there will be another term of tea and lifesaving.

SoMuchToBits · 07/07/2024 21:19

Thank you @StillSeekingResponsibleAdult ! I did try to keep the thread bumped a bit, especially on election day, but pleased you have found it now. Smile

But what about former Deputy Leader Kylie, has she been sacked? Will she set up a breakaway party for next time, or challenge Norman for the leadership?

SoMuchToBits · 07/07/2024 23:15

Kylie hasn't been sacked and is still working for the Tea drinking/lifesaving party, as well as being an active lifeguard. She is still part of the government and actually has a role with special responsibility for women. Smile

The Chancellor of the Exchequer Peregrine has promised that new houses will be built. They are very quick In Playmoland to fulfil their promises.

Impressive @SoMuchToBits
Has Peregrine got Angela Rayner's number?

SoMuchToBits · 08/07/2024 22:44

@Lifeinlists no, but I expect he has Seiji's number! Wink
