It's general election day for the Playmobil people in our house.

Here are this year's candidates. From left to right:- Michael the beach policeman (Law and order party), Emilia (Fashion accessories party), Jack Jellyhead (Legalise robbery party) Norman the foreman (Tea drinking and lifesaving party), Deepika (Keep fit party) and Seiji (DIY party).

Will Norman the foreman and the Tea drinking and lifesaving party remain in power? We will have to find out! The population of Playmoland will soon be arriving to cast their votes.

The polling station will open at 7 am.

It was winter. The teddies were out. I thought it looked like a rave. Might have just been a Christmas present stockpile 😘

The candidates are all gathered for the result. Adrian the returning officer is about to make a declaration. Emilia has changed her outfit again.

Deepika (Keep fit party) 8 votes, Emilia (Fashion accessories party) 14 votes, Jack Jellyhead (Legalise robbery party) 3 votes, Michael the beach policeman (Law and order party) 2 votes, Norman the Foreman (Tea drinking and lifesaving party) 36 votes, Seiji (DIY party) 19 votes.

So Norman has the most votes but not an overall majority. The big question is will the Tea drinking and life saving party form a coalition with one of the other parties?
