It's general election day for the Playmobil people in our house.

Here are this year's candidates. From left to right:- Michael the beach policeman (Law and order party), Emilia (Fashion accessories party), Jack Jellyhead (Legalise robbery party) Norman the foreman (Tea drinking and lifesaving party), Deepika (Keep fit party) and Seiji (DIY party).

Will Norman the foreman and the Tea drinking and lifesaving party remain in power? We will have to find out! The population of Playmoland will soon be arriving to cast their votes.

The polling station will open at 7 am.

@SoMuchToBits thats a real shame, as the best bit about the other, not so important election taking place today, has been all the animals people have taken to the Polling Station.
I liked the Clydesdale horse best, which made me wonder if the reindeer would get taken out for a bit of fresh air

Just been to vote in RL and it wasn’t half as entertaining as this and the candidates are all……..better left unsaid.
My vote is for good old Norman, can’t beat a bit of tea drinking with an occasional life saving duty now and then

I've missed the Playmobile threads. I remember trying to search once and couldn't find it. I was bereft 😳

Please can Norman reconsider the name of his party? I don't like tea.

I've struggled but I think I'd like to vote for Michael. Head over anything else.

Norman is very inclusive and he doesn’t mind what beverage you drink according to his manifesto

I like Norman but feel he should have a years break to drink more tea and give Seiji a short term.

Only 2 hours until the polls close...

Right... I was undecided earlier but after serious consideration I am voting Emilia .. Right candidate .. Right hat. Hats are important in both sun and rain .. Emilia has her priorities right and will keep Playmos from getting sunburnt or soggy.

I am voting Norman again, he seems to be doing a stirling job plus I do love a cup of tea so that sways me.

I read that and was very pleased, but his party name is still too tea-based, so I feel he is paying lip service to coffee/ water drinkers. Also, there is no mention of biscuits.

Well in previous cabinets they have had a minister for biscuits, so they take them quite seriously!

Sorry if I am being stupid, but are you being sardonic wrt all the accusations of bot beings on MN, or do you really think that this is a bot thread? If you are serious, I am not sure people in Russia can post on MN very easily now, can they? And the accusation of being a bot living in the UK would be quite serious!
