I’ve just back from the polling station which was busy. It’s made me hopeful about turnout.

Quiet at my polling station. Also in the early morning. Schools broke up for the summer last week in my constituency so hopefully the postal vote (for people who managed to get one ) accounts for the low turnout so far.
The weather here is blustery with frequent heavy showers so maybe people are hoping for better weather in the evening?

Back from second polling Station trip(took DH to vote) was busy and saw a couple of first time voters. Drove past another polling station which looked really busy.

Went out and voted (and saw a guide dog at my polling station - do I win at #dogsatpollingststions?).
Rewarded myself with cake and a bacon roll, now it's raining so I am "stuck" in a cafe with a pot of tea.
I may be here some time, do not send help.

I took mine in where he got lots of cuddles and praise 😳
He wanted to vote for the party that gives out free tennis balls but I told him he couldn't.

I took mine in too, she wanted the liver treats party and was most put out when I told her they weren’t on the ballot paper.
