When did you *know* the Tories were over?

For me it was PM Liz Truss's "fiscal event".

I remember watching it aghast. I thought it would lay out Britain's post Brexit plan for growth. Turned out the Tory government didn't have one.

What was your turning point?

Yep Truss broke an ‘unshakeable’ belief. More damaging than people give it credit for.

When we realised the nation had voted for Brexit. I've always maintained that the only silver lining of Brexit would be that it would eventually destroy the Tory party. No party could ever survive the weight of what was obviously a colossally stupid act. And today they face their worse defeat ever. Good.
