I have a VERY clever 4 year old

He's miles behind his peers, he has next to no head control, he can't sit without support, he's nowhere near being able to walk. He is preverbal and he is very much in his own world but BUT he is beginning to smile when he means 'Yes please, I'd like to do that" and that is a huge, huge step for him. Huge.

Every little step is a milestone, well done mum & clever boy 💐

How precious to see any of our children do something new but when it has taken a little bit longer then I think it is all the more precious.
