What are you wearing to bed in this horrible heat?

I'm most comfortable in a nightie, DH sleeps nude not that I mind too much-- Grin.--

My only moan is that I wake up looking like hagrid as apparently my head gets sweaty.

There's just something about my lightweight cotton snoopy nightie (m&s for the win).

Am I the strange one here MN?

BettyBlueHat · 24/06/2024 22:43

nothing

80sMum · 24/06/2024 22:49

I'll be wearing my usual pyjamas and will have a hot water bottle as usual! 😂

brendafromacrosstheroad · 24/06/2024 22:50

Nothing the same as every night

AppleDumplingWithCustard · 24/06/2024 22:50

Nothing.

IDontLoveTheWayYouLie · 24/06/2024 22:51

Nothing but I don't wear anything when it's cold either.

Heelworkhero · 24/06/2024 22:51

Nothing - like every night of the year

minipie · 24/06/2024 23:02

Cotton pants, as usual

MoonshineSon · 24/06/2024 23:04

I can't sleep naked as will be eaten by the monster in the wardrobe.

GrumpyPanda · 24/06/2024 23:05

T-shirt and a nice loose pair of men's pj bottoms.

Elfie23 · 24/06/2024 23:07

Vest top and knickers as DD still don't bother to knock before coming in 🤦🏻‍♀️

Bogartysmack79 · 24/06/2024 23:08

Cami nightie or vest and shorts ,as I do all year ! One leg out too as I have to be covered too!

CalicoPusscat · 24/06/2024 23:11

Heat?! We weren't blessed here.

I sleep with something on, usually pyjama bottoms and don't care about the top.

ChangeyTime · 24/06/2024 23:13

@GrumpyPanda

is it not overkill wearing pj bottoms to bed?

TeabySea · 24/06/2024 23:18

Nothing.
At some point I'll have a hot flush and throw the sheet off. Then I'll get cold and pull all the covers up. Then I'll need the toilet. Then I'll have another hot flush. Then I'll be really cold again. Repeat several times until exhaustion wins.

@MoonshineSon

As long as you have a sheet over you they can't find you.

greenpolarbear · 24/06/2024 23:24

Oversized t-shirt. Cooling blanket and pillow case help a lot too. Normally put them in the freezer and get them out before bed.

spikeandbuffy · 24/06/2024 23:26

Ok Shorts and a t shirt

spikeandbuffy · 24/06/2024 23:26

FFS. PJ shorts and a t shirt

But a bit might poke out and then it's game over.

Deebee90 · 24/06/2024 23:27

Shorts and a vest

Macandcheeese · 24/06/2024 23:28

Very old and very thin worn out cotton night shirt- I have 2 that are older then DS who is 22 and they are great for hot nights. I also sleep on top of the duvet 😱no covers! In really hot weather (we had a day at 41c in Yorkshire last year or the one before?) I soaked the night shirt in cold water- wrung it out and wore it damp to bed with a fan on worked a treat.
