What are you wearing to bed in this horrible heat?

I'm most comfortable in a nightie, DH sleeps nude not that I mind too much-- .--

My only moan is that I wake up looking like hagrid as apparently my head gets sweaty.

There's just something about my lightweight cotton snoopy nightie (m&s for the win).

Am I the strange one here MN?

But knickers and a vest in summer, big tee and pj bottoms in winter.
I hate nighties, horrible memories of having to wear them as a child, my Mum felt wearing knickers at night was unhealthy so I always felt exposed in a nightie, plus they always work their way up and you wake up feeling uncomfortable with rolled up fabric under your arms.

Lol, my best purchase was a bed that goes right down to the floor. No where for the monsters to hide.

Horrible heat?? It’s just pleasantly warm! I have changed to my summer duvet though.

Not hot enough yet but when it’s really hot, wearing a damp pair of pjs really really makes a difference, especially if there’s a fan going nearby to help with evaporation.

during the day, I also find that using an ice towel around my neck really helps, but I don’t wear to bed as I don’t want to accidentally strangle myself. However, I discovered you can now get much bigger ice towels so have been contemplating getting one to wear over me as a sheet to sleep bare under - just not sure how easy it would be to whip and crack it to reset it in the middle of the night if you’re really tired - can imagine it might be the sort of effort that would really wake you up if you need to stand up and find an empty space to do it when you’re really tired…. Contemplating getting a smaller one that’s just big enough to put across your legs or torso to try it out and see if that would be enough.
And for anyone that hasn’t tried an ice towel, I can highly recommend them - they really do make a difference and giving them a quick whip when they are damp really does make the temperature much lower than it starts out as so if you put it around a hot part of you it really helps to cool you down.

Like a PP, I sleep naked, I find sleeping in clothes (any kind of clothes) weird and uncomfortable. I like a cool/cold bedroom.

I'm in the south east and it is warmer at night now, I think it was 16° last night. Windows open throughout the upstairs, so wasn't uncomfortable.

Horrible heat? I've still got the winter duvet on.

DH has a selection of thin T-shirts that work well as nighties for me.

I haven't bothered - back to rain and average temperatures tonight. For one slightly warmer night last night I slept on a light vest top and pants. Shame it's not a spell of it. I love warm nights

I can't go naked because I'd look like this and probably wake up to find the cat trapped in a fold...

Normal long-sleeved long-legged pyjamas. It's not "horrible heat", it's just summer in the UK, and averagely warm.

I'm sleeping in a t shirt and shorts style pyjamas, on top of the duvet if I feel too hot.

When it gets really hot..... just a pair of knickers with a damp, wrung out flannel on my chest.

I want some horrible heat! Just woke up to grey skies and rain here. On the 1 day per year we do have horrible heat, I swap from a long sleeve t-shirt to a short sleeve one. Sorry, I'm no bloody help, but at least some people above me are😆

Vest top and knickers. Don't like sleeping naked I feel too vulnerable! to what I have no idea 😂

Also my boobs travel around too much if I sleep naked. I'd find them somewhere on the opposite side of the room if they weren't contained in something.

Usually nothing but sleeping on the sofa at the moment so wearing PJ's

It's 28c in my bedroom 😭

Naked with a fan on. During the night I grow a fur coat cat monster on my side who decides the fan is for him. Which is fun.

The same as I do every other night. My birthday suit.

I don't like the heat, but the thing I love in this weather is to sleep in top of the duvet wrapped in a towel after a nice shower. Lovely 😊
