No child benefit payment

My last payment was 24th may 2024, I have received no payment from CB today anyone in the same boat

I'm paid monthly and haven't received mine either, will update if anything goes in.

Mine hasn’t gone in either usually get paid every Monday :(

I haven't received mine either. I get mine every 4 weeks. Was due today and the only direct debit I have going out today is to department of communities and of course no problem taking it out 😂! I heavily rely on my payments as do many others. I've 5 kids at home and single parenting. No change in my circumstances or anything. I was expecting my payment as usual and was going grocery shopping this morning. Electric will also run out at midday! Anyone who didn't have theirs have it now?

I have no changes in circumstances single parent no friends or family so I’m really stressed as I have to pay double council tax today,and if I do I will be stuck I didn’t have had enough last month and I haven’t seen issues with chb coming

Im just off phone to them still working on it saying if i dont get today they will re issue payment tomorrow anyone had there yet ?

Are people really that desperate for the money? If its a delay at HMRC or DWP then it will probably credit in the next day or so

Yes people rely on it theres people without food or electricity and bills to pay

You don't understand. You're lucky. Some people will have no electricity or gas because of this.

And some people won't have enough money for food.

I'm not even in this boat, but I've been on the bones of my arse and not had an expected payment come in (wages, in my case). It's devastating. Give your head a wobble.

Weekly here. Delay has been a pain in the arse today.

Has anyone actually received their payment yet ?

I think it’s really sad that people are so dependant on it, but it’s also sad that people are so ignorant of others around them. We earn over the CB threshold so we don’t receive it - but I can still understand those who plan their finances around it and really depend on it. Try putting yourself in other peoples shoes now and again!
