Dd is on holiday so.im looking after both GS. Plus have my kids as well
We all get sorted for school normal morning all fine.

We decided to pop to the shop on the way to school to grab breakfast.. from then on kids are not taking their stuff when I tell them to lights are on nobody home type thing. All 3 of them just staring into space.

Get on the 1st bus baby gs chuck's up all over me . I get of the bus. Then my ds is chucking up because he saw baby gs chuck up. I go to tesco buy a top. Clean myself and gs up. Change into new top. Then I'm waiting for my next bus. Older gs falls over cuts his lip . So he's screaming . Sort him out get on bus. Older gs then drops his lunch on the floor. 5 mins on the bus and baby gs chucks up on me again. We got of the bus and have come home. I had enough.

Nobody seems to be asking why OP’s daughter thinks it’s ok to feck off on a non important and completely avoidable trip leaving her two kids including a baby with her mother with no transport. Selfish personified.
If it was work it would be one thing, but a holiday? She’s blatantly young.

Edited

Maybe she deserved a holiday .

Sounds like a crappy morning alright, sometimes just going home is best. I really fancy a croissant now, hope the kids got to eat theirs 😂

Mine have had a lot worse over the years for breakfast 😉

op
3 children are not going to school today because
one vomited because they saw their baby cousin vomit but fine otherwise
one hurt their lip
one dropped their lunch

stressful morning? yep
enough to mean all three miss out on their education? no

Missing one day in primary school is hardly going to condemn them to a life of shovelling shit, is it?

paprikaforever · 21/05/2024 15:53

i’d take a punt OP that you do a lot of childcare for your DD and probably this isn’t your first thread about it!

how old are the children?

paprikaforever · 21/05/2024 15:57

anyone been sick since this morning?

no
but i’m guessing everyone has been fine

paprikaforever · 21/05/2024 16:04

but all the posters shrieking that you were right to keep off the eldest because he vomited (despite you saying that it was because he saw his cousin vomit) will you be keeping him off tomorrow too?

paprikaforever · 21/05/2024 16:06

have you had to take time off work whilst DD on hol?

whatsitcalledwhen · 21/05/2024 16:10

@Arraminta

Being stressed doesn't justify not taking them to school. Sounds to me like these children are going to need every shot at an education that they can possibly get.

What a spiteful post.

It doesn't make you sound very bright, either.

Shrieking? What an odd way to describe people just posting on an anonymous forum. You sound much more invested in this thread than anyone else, to be honest.

needsomeadvice22 · 21/05/2024 16:13

I do hope your DD will return the favour and have your son for a few days rest when she gets home sounds like you need it. What a shitty morning for you.

paprikaforever · 21/05/2024 16:15

i’ll head off

but i’d wager a lot

the DD doesn’t work
the OP doesn’t work
and the kids have a shit attendance rate

over and out (hiding thread whilst covering head!)

They wouldn’t have they’ve just spotted an opportunity to pile on and make themselves feel superior.

As you're so very concerned with the education of others, it seems odd that your judgemental posts don't even use capital letters.

Maybe try to get less invested in threads like this if they truly bother you so much that you have to repeatedly post, clearly trying to get a reaction from the OP... then say you're hiding the thread.

Bizarre behaviour.
