Hornchurch: Woman dies in XL bully attack at home www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-69041493

She was the owner and sounds like she had a couple of them. They were registered but clearly that doesn't and didn't stop this preventable death.

There won't need to be a cull at this rate. The brutes will all eat their owners then be destroyed anyway.

Our neighbor had a huge one. It ran into my son and stole his ice lolly out of his hand knocked my boy over and ran off. I shouted after his owner and he said oh sorry.

2 days later it ripped the other dog it lived with to pieces and the woman only survived by climbing over our fence and locking herself in our house. Police had to seal our road off and shoot it.

It gets worse.
They tried to sue the police for killing their dog Confused

This pretty much sums it up. The owners of these dogs are fucking idiots.

This video shows an xl trying to attack the most vulnerable person in the group on the beach. Its mannerisms are like a playful dog but it'd intent is to attack the elderly man. Thank god for the brave people that encircled him and kept him safe. Trigger warning although no actually gore its pretty scary to watch

Why didn't they throw that coat over his head and why the hell did the other woman approach with two more dogs? Bunch of idiots.

I'm a lifelong dog lover but about 25 years ago my mother had a corgi with some kind of brain damage that used to bite occasionally - starting from early adulthood, maybe 18 months old. He never attacked another dog or anyone outside the house but I was bitten more than once (partly because I was confident around a family pet - mistake) and at least 2 visitors got nipped. A smallish dog with a limited capacity to damage an adult.

He had a final visit from the vet when he was 4. Aggressive dogs have to be taken out of the gene pool for everyone's sake.

Were those dogs actually rescued or 'rescued' (I.e. bought off Gumtree as adult dogs with no known history and a sob story).

My God, her Facebook post (referenced in the article and easily findable from dogs' names) is quite some read. Still thinks the dogs are marvellous and loving photos still on the page.

Some people really are past educating.

This is quite common in dogs that are later found to have brain tumours unfortunately 😔

Not to victim blame but Jesus how stupid can people be.

That video sums it up. Don't give a fuck if it’s scary, intimidating, tears apart other peoples pets. Don’t give a fuck they are genetically unsound and bred from human aggressive lines. Don’t give a fuck if they are likely to kill someone’s child or even themselves because they are so entitled to have and do what they want. Fuck everyone else because they are some sort of master trainer than can overrule unpredictable and dangerous genetics and years of breeding for aggression, game and drive. Fuck those who have to deal with them, medically treat them and at the end risk themselves to euthanise them when they have gone and killed something …just as it was bred to do.

As long as they have the dog they want fuck the rest of us 🤷‍♀️

Yes, we didn't get an autopsy done, but there was clearly something wrong - he wasn't a happy dog and never smiled. With the best of care from puppyhood, all the socialisation. Some dogs just can't be part of the human pack. The tragedy of the Bullys is that they are being deliberately bred to be unsafe.

I think the dog (perhaps due to it's size & power) has taken on a god-like status in her mind and she feels honoured to have sacrificed her hand to it. I read a news story where a man in the uk had his whole arm torn off when his dog attacked him, and he kept the dog.

MonsteraMama · 21/05/2024 07:17

Well.. I hate to say it but that's the risk you take if you insist on owning a banned breed. It's sad that she's dead but honestly better her than some random child or innocent passerby.

Having seen her tiktok I agree and add "oh dear, never mind."

Zero sympathy. Just pleased it wasn't somebody who wasn't a selfish halfwit

MercyDulb0ttle · 07/06/2024 19:04

Jesus. These people really are best out of the gene pool.

As for the woman whose
dogs ripped her hand off - she
STILL describes them as “loyal and loving”.

I bet you anything she’ll end up
getting more of the same. Maybe they’ll take her other hand off and the penny will drop.

HeadacheEarthquake · 07/06/2024 21:23

The fuck.

JaneJeffer · 07/06/2024 21:34

Oh my God that poor woman

MuscariFan · 07/06/2024 21:37

And those dogs are only young. God help anyone around them as they mature, not least the child.

What’s the betting the woman didn’t press charges for fear of intimidation too, and will spend her life living in fear.

Foggyfield · 07/06/2024 21:41

The nerve of that irresposible, thick, dangerous cunt coming over to hug and help the poor woman, when it was entirely her fault.

Those are young dogs, they aren't quite at the age where they will turn on their owners. It will be her or the child next.

paisley256 · 07/06/2024 23:20

I couldn't have put it better myself, stupid stupid idiot having those dogs in the first place - it's never going to happen to you though is it? Thick as fuck these people are. And that poor woman who was attacked what a shame. This wasn't far from me unfortunately, it makes me so sick, I'm scared to walk my dog now after all these attacks and my son who used to walk our dog won't do it anymore either thanks to idiots like this.

0sm0nthus · 07/06/2024 23:25

I'm too scared to click the link, how is this allowed to happen??😢

MercyDulb0ttle · 08/06/2024 07:51

What the fuck?? This is ridiculous! There has to be a cull. I mean a proper, breed-eradicating cull.

Kpo58 · 08/06/2024 08:04

I can see there only going to be more XL bully attacks as they can no longer be exercised properly and now lack the mental stimulation being stuck at home all day.
