Would you judge me for wearing shorts and not shaving?

I genuinely don't remember the last time u shaved my legs. I decided to wear shorts today.
Would you judge me if you noticed I haven't shaved my legs?
Just a general wondering. I'm quite light haired too if that makes a difference.

Would you immediately think I was gross? Or would you have as few cares about it as I do?

Excuse my ignorance but creaming your feet? Why? How would you even know if someone had done this? Too many questions here

What do you mean why? Do you not cream your feet? You know if someone’s creamed their feet because their foot bottom isn’t dry and crusty….

I wouldn’t judge but it’d probably catch my attention if the hairs are dark.

I definitely judge women who wear sandals and haven’t even bothered to paint their toenails or cream their feet. YUCK. I won’t even mention men, they should never have their mingers out in open toe shoes

What a sad little sausage you are.

FrogTheWarrior · 20/05/2024 09:26

I would probably notice, but wouldn’t judge you for it at all. Up to you.

I’ve never shaved my thighs but my hair is very fair there. Below the knee gets a once over with my electric shaver a couple of times a week, close wet shave for special occasions 😂So most of the time, I’m not silky smooth by any means.

My foot bottoms are so soft and luscious that my diabetes nurse commented on how lovely they were. I don't cream my feet.

If you wear sandals without painting your toenails/creaming your feet then just say that

ImthatBoleyngirl · 20/05/2024 09:30

I don't like the look of hairy legs, but I wouldn't judge, just as I wouldn't expect anyone to judge my shaved legs.

dutysuite · 20/05/2024 09:31

I wouldn’t judge you - it’s up to you but I wouldn’t think it looked pleasant.

diddl · 20/05/2024 09:33

Why would people judge just because it isn't what they would choose for themselves?

No wonder some women feel under such pressure!

Sorry let me spell it out to people. If you don’t cream your feet AND they are dry and crusty, I judge you.

The fact that people don’t cream a body part for no clear reason is so interesting to me. Let me guess, you don’t wash your feet either? You just let the water trickle over it when you shower?

OrlandointheWilderness · 20/05/2024 09:35

Well I personally hate having anything other than utterly smooth legs, however it wouldn't cross my mind to judge you for your choices, nothing to do with me!

Ladyj84 · 20/05/2024 09:37

Nope I think if your Gona judge on something so not worth it then it's a small world you live in. If I had time to shave with 3 toddlers it would be nice but no deal breaker when I can't.

I physically can't 'cream my feet' or paint my nails. My feet aren't remotely dry or cracked.

You're a very very sad individual if that's what you judge others for

As soon as men start joining in, I'll agree.

From what I can tell most men have never bought moisturiser and certainly wouldn't think to use it somewhere other than their hands and face. Men's feet are far worse than most women's.

I wash my feet.

I don't understand what that's got to do with "creaming". I don't moisturise anything unless it needs it. In practice, that's the backs of my hands for a day or two, maybe three or four times over a winter, and every few weeks I'll notice I need a small amount of moisturiser on my forehead and cheeks.

I take it you moisturise your entire body whether it needs it or not? Sounds tedious.

So why are you responding? No clue why you’re trying to take pain relief for someone else’s headache

How about you see my first comment where I clearly mentioned men. HTH

Lavender14 · 20/05/2024 09:42

Probably wouldn't notice that about someone else and I'd respect their decision to practice bodily autonomy. It wouldn't bother me in the slightest if I did notice

No, I'm not Black. But then, you weren't applying your standards only to Black people when you asked if I bothered washing my feet.

FuckTheClubUp · 20/05/2024 09:43

Soz to derail your thread OP. More than a few have said they’ll judge if legs aren’t shaved but me judging people by the state of their feet makes me the bad guy? Okay😆 I’ll take it anyway!

You said painted nails in your original post. So my statement still stands.

Clearinguptheclutter · 20/05/2024 09:44

I wouldn’t judge you no
i do shave but but religiously and often go out in stubbly legs

Seeline · 20/05/2024 09:46

What are these judgey people actually judging?

I rarely shave my legs but still wear shorts.
The only time I shave them is if I'm going on a 'pool' type holiday. I might even paint my toenails then. But I still wash/shower etc - having hairy legs doesn't make them dirty.
I don't cream my feet because I get blisters very easily with any shoes I wear so don't want to make them any softer. I also have bare feet whenever possible so don't want soft soles.
