When you do a food shop, what food(s) would never ever make it to your trolley?

I have never and will never buy bell peppers, just the smell makes me heave and they have no place in any of my dinners. Pineapple too.

Things i automatically pick up without having to think.. olives, spinach and red leicester cheese.

Avocado
Mushrooms
Chinese food
Shellfish 🤢🤢🤢

If it was just me I had to shop for the things that would never be on my list are:

Milk
Butter
Bread
Teabags/Tea
Fish and any other Seafood
Microwave Meals
Spaghetti

There's only adult DD and me here, and we only buy the things we like anyway, but the items above would never make it into my trolley!

Processed "meat" vegan products
Spirits
Anything fat-free

I think I've bought them for my boyfriend twice in the past 8 years and even then they aren't allowed in the trolly, he has to carry them.

Celery - crunchy, piss-flavoured water with hair in it.
Coriander - tastes of soap.

N*stle products. Boycut them for 24 years and don't plan on stopping.

I will eat most foods and those I'm not keen on dh or adult children will eat so really not got anything else that "never" goes into the trolley.

Any sort of seafood.

Meat
Ready meals
Ready made sauces
Cakes
Energy drinks

I have never bought red Leicester. it's coloured waxy nothingness.

Same, it's one of the worst cheeses.

The worst apple is golden delicious, you'll never find those in my trolley.

Shellfish/seafood - I actually really like it, but rarely cook it at home

Our weekly staples are veg, meat/tofu, coffee, peanut butter and AF beer.

Bananas
Yoghurt
Lamb
Pork except sausages
Cous cous

I'll consider almost anything else.

Any sort of fish

Fish (I like it but hate cooking it at home due to the smell it leaves)
Sweet potato

Any seafood I just can't stand the look of it 🤢

Offal, anything ultra processed, chocolate, sweets, pastries, cakes etc

Out of interest, what cheeses are you all buying since red leicester is waxy crap?😭 id like to add a red apple and whisky to my list of never have / never will buy.

That really made me laugh about celery - very accurate description! But it does make bolognese/stews/pies/soups etc much nicer.

Prepared sauces (apart from pesto) and ready meals are the ones I'd exclude.

And Wensleydale. Horrible, dry stuff.
