Joyce unknow yet, but someone that has been mentioned to him a lot.

Why Brosnan?! I can’t see that at all. I see him as Ray Winston.

Please let Joyce be Julie Walters!

Where has this been announced? On his instagram he just talks about the cast is “insanely good” no names .

I was very happy to see that Helen Mirren was cast as Elizabeth and think Ben Kingsley will work as Ibrahim, but also not sure about Pierce Brosnan as Ron - I’d always seen Ron as a Ray Winston-type.

Interesting about Joyce - the two names I’ve seen mentioned a lot are Penelope Wilton and Julie Andrews.

I remember when Eminem got praise for 8 mile, playing an impoverished rapper. I think it was Samuel L who said, let's see him play a college professor then we'll know how good he is.

He does a great podcast called "The Rest is Entertainment" with Marina Hyde. Comes out twice a week. They mentioned the casting this morning.

They were also discussing Celebrity Traitors (although no names were mentioned).

Penelope Wilton is definitely Joyce for me. Not getting Pierce Brosnan as Ron at all! As someone said above I could see him as Stephen. Is it going to be a film? Assuming so from the cast. I think it would work better as a 6 part series imo.

Even though she's too young I can only see Elizabeth as Fiona Shaw as she's basically an older version of Carolyn from Killing Eve.

I'm another one for Ray winstone for Ron. I just can't see Brosnan as Ron. Helen Mirren is perfect for Elizabeth (though I agree with the Charlotte Rampling suggestion). Joyce should be Julie Walters, though Penelope Wilton would be good or maybe Imelda Staunton.

I've always pictured Abrahim as Art Malik. Ben Kingsley us a good choice too.

Another one surprised by Pierce Brosan as Ron but willing to wait and see. Ron is a rough diamond so Ray Winstone type is more obvious. Maybe Pierce has got what it takes to portray that roughness?
Helen Mirren and Ben Kingsley are great choices.
I'm actually in 2 minds about Julie Walters. I think Joyce is a very straightforward, rather naive character who sometimes surprises herself with her courage and insight. I think Penelope Wilton would be more my idea of Joyce. Or maybe Joanne David (Emilia Fox's Mum)
