Joyce unknow yet, but someone that has been mentioned to him a lot.

Piers Brosnan is all wrong for Ron. And why isnt Art Malik playing Ibrahim?

I'm not sure about Pierce Brosnan as Ron either. He's definitely a more rough and ready character in my mind. Maybe Pierce will surprise us...

Definitely would love either Penelope Wilton or Imelda Staunton as Joyce.

Ooh, interesting. Also not sure about Pierce Brosnan. Tbh, not sure about Helen Mirren either. The picture in my head has always been Judi Dench as M!

I’m pleased that it’s not Ray Winstone playing Ron. The character is such a stereotype as it is and I think he’d be too flat if portrayed by RW. Pierce Bronsan is potentially a really good choice.

I too thought Pierce was an unusual choice - then I googled how he looks these days… rather different than perhaps many of us still remember him! He might just be okay!

I'd like to have seen Joanna Lumley as Elizabeth. Good casting on Ibrahim, though had wondered about Art Malik. Not sure about Pierce either.

Looking forward to this! I also think Pierce Brosnan is a bit of a surprise casting wise but maybe Ray Winston was too obvious. Can’t wait to hear about Donna & Chris!

I really want Lesley Manville for Joyce. Her narration on the audiobook is perfect and she's got the right shape face for the Joyce in my head.

I do think June Whitfield would have been great as Joyce.
