"Ableist"?? Really? I'm not very tall, it's only a disability when trying to see in a crowd or get things off high shelves.

AdamRyan · 25/04/2024 12:33

Interestingly the voting on these threads is nearly always 70/30. Must say something about the plight of the Tories 😂

True. Good thing there’s usually a nice man around in a supermarket who’ll get it down for you.

Is it illegal to buy a house now?

It's illegal for a socialist to buy a house, I think.

Our solicitor was obviously very negligent and failed to make the necessary checks.

Make the most of it while you can. Only a GE can save you now.

Same here, (buts bars up at the windows & doors) so the government can’t confiscate it.
I often rope in some nice helpful tall people in the supermarket I’m 4ft 10” not ever thought of it as having a disability.

DuncinToffee · 25/04/2024 13:21

I am often asked to reach the higher shelves, never thought about asking to return the favour and reach for the lower shelves Wink

i did once fall into a chest freezer head first whilst rummaging near the bottom in Sainsburys years ago, was rescued by a fellow shopper not my finest hour.

Hello fellow tall person. Must be a Cloggie thing.

That AR thread is batshit, but I'm loving the Tory rage.

DuncinToffee · 25/04/2024 13:52

That made me laugh dontcallmelen

I'm 6in shorter than Sunak. Should I do a PIP application?

We've been through this before, Youguv are not reliable as their owner is a well known leftie of the Rayner tax dodging type.

What on earth is going on here? And how is Mordaunt allowed to get away with it?

Cheered to see that Fox has to pay £180 k in libel to two people he called paedophiles.

dontcallmelen · 25/04/2024 14:37

She has swishy hair & usually every time she opens her mouth it’s a lie which sits well with the rest of the liars grifters & incompetent fools she calls colleagues.

Flipping flag worshipping. Again.
Goodness knows what the rest of the UK feels about it given the St George's cross is English.

Maybe she's proving her "stand up and fight" credentials

Hope you were OK.

AdamRyan · 25/04/2024 14:52

Ugh. Just watched it all. We need parliamentary standards now.

Not looking forward to a GE campaign focussed on who is most "patriotic". Populist nonsense.

RafaistheKingofClay · 25/04/2024 14:55

The parliamentary standards seem to apply to Dawn Butler there but not Mordaunt.

Obviously you can’t accuse someone of lying or misleading but the actual lying is fine.
