It’s odd that no major news outlet - apart from CNN, which has recycled other reports and material - has yet reported on the ‘attack’ on a playground.

Not Reuters. not AFP, not the BBC, not PA.

Is CNN not a major news outlet? Would it ever occur to you that Israel have bombed so many refugee camps and killed so many children already that them doing it again doesn't make the cut for major Western media, rather than presume CNN are showing a fake graphic video of it? Israel have killed more than 13000 children, if our media reported on the killings of each and every one there would be no space for other news. Unfortunately Israel bombing refugee camps and killing children has become the status quo.

In my post that you quoted I said that CNN hadn’t itself verified the story. It just reported on the reports, i.e. recycled the reports. No major news outlet has given any independent account of this.

No, I don’t think the IDF blowing up a playground full of children would go uninvestigated. That is just nonsense.

And we’re now several days on. Nothing. Apart from the initial claims from wholly unreliable channels within Hamas and Al Jazeera. And not even anything further from those dubious sources.

Perhaps if it isn't true it was a mistake by traumatised people. They have been living in an unimaginable state of terror and deprived of food, water and medicine for 6 months now.

Do you think the lies Israel and the press reported about the 'babies in ovens' and '40 beheaded babies' are 'wicked and shameful'. What do you think about the type of people including many posters on this board that promoted those lies?

If there was a mistake it wouldn’t have been made by ordinary people in Gaza, would it? They don’t set up the Al Jazeera reporter and crew to report.

And what mistake? That there was no explosion? Or that were was an explosion but that it was caused by Hamas? Or perhaps that the IDF did bomb somewhere close that wasn’t a playground, was a terrorist site, but that the liars wanted capital out of it?

Who knows? Israeli officials, Biden, the worlds press all managed to report on things that didn't happen in Israel didn't they? Was that liars that wanted capital out of it? Liars that wanted people so outraged they would turn a blind eye to mass bombings and induced famine?

I think there are lots of things in this conflict we are never going to know for sure because Israel are preventing investigations and media from operating both inside Gaza and Israel.

I have read the article and it is there indeed. So it looks like they have assessed the CNN video and other sources and concluded that it did happen.
It is time to sort this conflict for good, forever. Not just eliminate Hamas, but eliminate the whole conflict, end it with a long lasting peace plan. To achieve this though, we need leaders that want nothing else but peace. If the people leading the talks do want peace, it will happen.

No international journalists are allowed in Gaza. So international newspapers will have to mainly relay on what is being reported by Palestinian ones and verify this way whether it happened or not. They can only do this whilst Israel is not allowing them in Gaza.

i understand your points, from studying history at college, part of the problem is in history especially the main world wars ect technology has been used to create fake news and misinformation look at example movies and cgi etc, just because someone presents x information surly you can understand why others question the information etc ?

What attack was filmed? The 40 babies beheaded and the babies in the oven? Those are proven to be lies at this point. I'm not claiming that Hamas didn't attack Israel or that awful things happened just not those awful things.

I haven't claimed that the attack in Gaza didn't happen either.

I'm not sure what 'claim' is supposed to be vile?

Edited to add there is a reason I was specific in mentioning the 40 beheaded babies and the babies in ovens is because they made front page news and it has been proven that it didn't happen. Israel are not claiming it happened anymore. We know who died, we know the circumstances of the deaths of the two babies. I really don't appreciate being told that my 'claims are vile'. I'm sorry you had friends and family caught up in it but that doesn't excuse your tone and I would appreciate you explaining further which 'claims' are untrue and vile?

There is false information from both sides ! Or do you fail to see the videos all over about Hamas staging bodies , ripping clothes of children and making them pose crying , etc . They are easy to fine you you have an X account
