What's your favourite filthy food?

I'm feeling shite with a chest infection, DH is away for work, so I fancy some easy, dirty comfort food. I'm thinking chicken Super Noodles sandwiched between two slices of heavily buttered white bread. Stodgy, hot and delicious. Any other suggestions?

Mashed potato sandwich, or Walker's ready salted crisps in a sandwich

Bacon sandwich on white bread with brown sauce. Bacon needs to be nicely crisp and bread should be of the cheapo polystyrene white variety. Many a good bacon sanger has been ruined by granary bread....

Full English with lots of fried bread!

Thick buttered toast topped with crushed crisps, grated cheese and baked beans with a side of pickled onions.

@ScentlessAprentice that is one of my ultimate favourite comfort foods. Sadly I'm now gluten intolerant and rice noodles and gluten free bread just don't have the same appeal, as chicken super noodles and warburtons medium bread slathered with butter. That and the fact that gluten-free pot noodles also lack vastly in flavour too.

Cheese and potato pie with tinned tomatoes and lots of salt

I used to do toasted white bread. Buttered whilst it was still hot. Layer on cheesy watsits, top with tinned spaghetti and put grated cheese on top then bung it in the microwave till the cheese had melted. Sounds utterly revolting but it was bloody lovely

Bacon roll - streaky thin and crispy bacon, lashings of butter, a very fresh soft white roll and some brown sauce.

Cooked white rice, lashings of butter, salt and pepper and a tin of sweetcorn.

Similar in a theme but cooked white rice, home made vinaigrette dressing stirred through with some small chunks of cheddar cheese.

Cheese on toast.

A doner kebab.

Fried egg butty with roast chicken crisps smooshed inside, followed by a double decker & or a mars bar. Big mug of milky hot chocolate mixed with horlicks

Got to be eggy and/or cheesy, white bready, buttery and with a topping of crisps...
Arranged in whatever order you see fit, a pile of deliciously beige food 😁
Don't forget to top with a basil garnish for maximum health benefits!

Next time you make a bacon sarnie try dipping it in the eggs like you would for eggy bread then frying it in the bacon grease 😜

I absolutely drool over cheese and sliced onion in a fresh crusty roll but it’s just not worth the pain ☹️

Oh I really feel for you, it's horrible missing out on your favourite foods. I'm on a very restricted low fibre diet and I so miss proper cottage brown bread

Melted dairy milk with jelly tots and fruit pastilles in it 😋

they are nice upto a point, for me its cheesecake

My teenage crutch of egg fried rice, chips and curry. So filth it is reserved only for days when everything.has.gone.wrong.

A macaroni cheese pie and chips, or a Staffordshire oatcake with melted cheese and bacon bits.

Pot noodle sandwich and then I dip sensation crisps into the liquid left.

Yeah I can feel the acid reflux just thinking of most of these, but I want them so badly. In the end my Mum came around, made me mashed potatoes and gravy, then put me to bed with a big glass of water and a kiss on the forehead. I know I sound like a toddler but it was lovely.

White bread toasted, then slathered with tomato ketchup, some very crispy bacon and a ton of cheese then under the grill till oozy.

Or my very inauthentic version of Welsh rarebit.

Melted cheese, in any form, essentially.

Aberdeen buttery / rowie , warm, stabbed, butter ( real butter mind) melted over the top, decent slice of cheese just gently not quite melting on top.

Comfort food as my Granny would have done… my arteries are clogging as I type.
