I've had my eye on these for a while, and found it on Vinted, a king size one. It's only 10.5 tog, so I'm hoping it's going to be warm enough (I'm in Scotland).
I feel very excited at the thought of potentially not having to change my duvet covers again.
And it fits in the machine for washing!
Please share my excitement. I don't even care that my chat is so sad Grin

Some people could start an argument in an empty room. How can such a harmless topic get them so ridiculously het up?

Do any of the coverless duvet lovers here have a summer weight one and can tell me if it’s good for those of us who get easily overheated at night? I struggle to get comfy and fall asleep with no cover at all except
in a heatwave but hate the feel of just a sheet, and so I just end up in a cycle of duvet on, get hot, throw duvet off, get cold and repeat all night. Am wondering if this - essentially a thick blanket I guess - will help.

Yes, absolutely. I said up thread I have the 4 tog one. It is lightweight (obviously at that tog level) but I cannot bear being too hot in bed. I'm a sleep with the windows open year round sort of person!

In winter I add a thick blanket over the top of the duvet for extra warmth and if I were really cold I'd just put on my warmer PJs. But most of the year round I find the 4 tog excellent and way nicer than sleeping under a sheet!

I have both the herringbone and seersucker ones from the Fine Bedding Company and would recommend either of them. They are soft and comfortable. I tried the linen print one but it felt too shiny and typically polyester feeling for my liking so returned that one.

It's a huge time saver for us. We're fully on coverless duvets and blankets as needed. I have severe allergies so it's been great for me though it's obviously more washing loads. I wash and dry 3 in 1 day (I'm bed sharing with 2 little ones) alongside the sheets and pillowcases and blankets. No tumble dryer.

So, isn’t this just like, a comforter?
I don’t understand this concept here 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I've had one for a few years now and wouldn't go back. I HATE changing duvet covers. I sleep with a sheet over me and a thin 4.5 tog coverless duvet (menopausal so always warm anyway). I find I don't have to wash it every single week but when I do it washes and dries in a few hours, even during winter months.
