I’ll start with Ryan Reynolds. He honestly seems completely down to earth, responsive to his fans and likes to have a good joke at his own expense

I meet Ricky Gervais and his partner on Hampstead Heath regularly. They are both really friendly - though I think he is mostly interested in my dog!

Jeff Goldblum

I met him briefly backstage at a work thing a few years ago, he's so charming my pants practically fell off. Donatella Versace was there too she's weeeeeny.

This made me giggle 😂

I'm going to throw this one out here. It's controversial I'm sure but... Liam Gallagher.

My colleagues met him in a bar in San Francisco. Eventually they plucked up the courage to go over and say hello and I love your music and all the usual stuff.

He then invited them over to his table and brought them drinks all afternoon and was apparently a really genuine and funny person to hang out with.

Sorry but Anyone can be nice on a casual acquaintance. A friend of my mothers walked her dog with Dennis Nilsen (serial killer) nice friendly chap if slightly odd.

It seems they fought each other, not that he beat up AH, she equally beat him up

Yes, so he is a wifebeater. Whether she also beat him is irrelevant as no one is claiming she is a genuinely lovely person. Whatever the provocation, he hit his wife, therefore he is a piece of shit.

Indeed. They're both as bad as each other.

exactly - The Stranger Beside me is an amazing book written by someone who sat next to Ted Bundy at work!

jane asher.

But Johnny is talented, self-made, giving and generous - exact opposite of AH

RandomForest · 06/04/2024 18:10

Cheer yourself up with this clip of Cilla butchering a Lionel Richie classic.

That's effing brilliant 😂

Runnerinthenight · 06/04/2024 18:10

The beautiful Martin Kemp!

Was at a DJ set he did - he never stopped smiling and interacting with the audience, posed for lots of selfies (had my arm around him, thought I'd died and gone to heaven lol!), he sang at me a couple of times, he waved at me!

Nobody's all good or all bad though. I love Tom Jones and he was the biggest womaniser out there, cheating on his wife frequently!

Christmas202 · 06/04/2024 18:17

Sam Thomson and Pete wicks, Marvin humes, Tony bellew.

Not sure if a football manager counts as a celebrity but I always think Jurgen Klopp seems like a good person.

Interesting. My friend saw him DJ and he was late, turned up off his face and didn't interact with any of the plebs.

There's plenty more where that came from 😆

missl1 I agree with you about Liam Gallagher. I've met him quite a few times (my ex has worked with him) and he's always been the same.
Funny, down to earth, very friendly, and generous. Always got the drinks in, just a genuinely nice lad.
I've also met Noel a few times. You never quite knew 'which' Noel you were going to get. Sometimes he was fine, sometimes he wasn't.

Just goes to show - had total opposite experience! Would have been so disappointed!

God if John Lennon could see those videos.
