Anyone remember Rod Jane and Freddy?

This is showing my age a bit but for some reason Rod Jane and Freddy came into my mind this morning and I was wondering who else remembers them?!

I can see the connection. With ABBA they all swapped partners too ,much like Rod ,Jane and Freddy

Of course, I'd guess everyone who was a child when they were on TV would remember them, the same way you'd remember "your" Doctor Who and Blue Peter presenters

They did a live show which toured the UK. It was on atvThe Ambassadors Theatre in the West End where I was an usher. I saw it every day for 2 weeks...

Loved it. Reminds me of lunches with my Nan, she would look after me during school hols and Rainbow would always be on telly. Then Sons & Daughters which she would watch.

Today, the voice of Zippy reminds me of Josh Widdecombe (sorry Josh).

My husband sings the theme tune to this waaaay too often for my liking.

Oh my god, massive wave of nostalgia for Picture Box, Words and Pictures, Bagpuss and Mr Benn.
Always remember one particular episode where he was a knight and there was a dragon.
Thinking about Bod now too and guessing the milkshake flavour! Camberwick Green and Trumpton etc.
Kids programmes were lovely when we were young (wee sobbing fit) and the animation was so beautiful.
