I was with you until about half way through the series. I was sick in bed at the time so carried on watching it even though I was telling my DH it was the worst thing I’d ever seen. Nothing like the book, no chemistry between the main characters, horrible to watch. And then all of a sudden it shifted. By the end I felt it was so special and they were both so good.

I wouldn't be opposed to lying on a beach reading a book for days. I am so drawn in by the images of the stunning beaches (I'm normally a backpacking type but I've always had a soft spot for all the marketing around the Maldives).
