War Horse
Matilda
Hairdryers

I cannot live without a hairdryer!!!! I’m slightly jealous anyone who can.

Actually like most things mentioned on these lists, not sure what that says about me!

For me it’s spa days - hate being messed about with by strangers.

abigailsfs · 21/03/2024 17:50

TikTok
80's fashion revival, esp high-rise jeans, and 90's plaid
False eyelashes and/or overdone brows
Witchy nails

Edited to add:
cold plunge trend at spas etc
just fill your bath with cold water and add a bag of ice or take a cold shower

1dayatatime · 21/03/2024 17:57

@Pinkdaffodils900

So agree with you on coffee.

It's the only product where customers will pay money for something that takes longer to make and be served to you.

It's like paying a garage more money to fix your car so long as they take more time to do it.

The cinema. I've given up now. People treat it as an extension of their living room. Chatting, checking their phones, eating noisily, no manners or self awareness.

I agree sadly. Ditto the theatre. I used to enjoy going to the ballet. Now too many people, already half cut, sit there drinking pints and talking. Strangely, the best place to watch live ballet now is the cinema. It attracts the traditional crowd (presumably trying to keep away from the drunk talkers). The ‘we’re in our living room set tend not to be in the screenings of ballet 🤷‍♀️

Long fake nails - dirty.

Salted Caramel Everything, no thank you

WeeOrcadian · 21/03/2024 18:08

Salted caramel anything
Gin
Toast clothing
Fake nails
Micro blading
Arm / hand tattoos (I have tattoos, I'm not anti-tattoo)
Lip filler

PossumintheHouse · 21/03/2024 16:04

You can't have it both ways 😂What's it to be, camping via camper-van style, or traditional tent camping?

Totally agree about the false nails. Not only wildly impractical, but those long filed-off nails with a square tip finish, or whatever the hell it's called, are hideous.

Both

Shogunspretzel · 21/03/2024 18:12

NoSnowdrop · 20/03/2024 18:28

Vinted

Gousto

The Uniqlo bag

“who gives a crap” toilet tissue which pretends to be “green” but is actually shipped all the way from China

Botox, we can always tell same as lip filler

I was looking to see how quickly somone said botox and filler. Mumsnet is so predictable 😂 one and a half pages in is good going!

Gin

Cocktails

This sounds like a good night to me 🤣

GladIveMovedOn · 21/03/2024 18:21

Coconut water. Never got the appeal.

Bubble tea is one of my favourite things ever though. Sweet drink filled with little bursty balls of sweet flavour? Sign this sugar fiend up 😁

SevenSeasOfRhye · 21/03/2024 18:23

It could be a good night - I'll have beer and a pizza @StormingNorman , you have the gin etc. and we'll put some music on to avoid the TV conflict 😆
