Oh, I love Lost Cherry! Do I go round reeking of Mr Sheen when I wear it and I’ve been blissfully unaware?

ScierraDoll · 21/03/2024 18:30

Glastonbury - the festival not the town

But for the person who said the opera house - I live in Sydney and I see it bringing tears to people's eyes daily, it's absolutely bloody magnificent.

Went to Sydney Opera house, was dirty, smaller than I thought and does not look like the pictures.

I went to a concert there because we got tickets even more boring inside.

People are not crying at its beauty they are crying because of the hype everyone told them. It soulless.

PS Australia give it a clean.

Oh no! I'm booked to take the kids to the Harry Potter studio tour 😭. I agree the London eye is shite. Although it was ok in covid times because no overseas visitors meant no queues.

huge Harry Potter fans in our house! We’ve been to the studios around 5 times over the years. If you’re a big Harry Potter fan you will absolutely love it. It’s not a theme park so obviously there’s no rides but seeing the sets is fantastic. My kids absolutely loved it!

Barbecues - massive faff IMO

Long soak in a bath - uncomfortable but maybe just the design of out bath

New Year's Eve

Agree about barbecues. Meat that's burnt or raw, or both at the same time. Yecch.....
And yes, New Year's Eve - bedtime at 11

incywincyspidery · 21/03/2024 18:43

Eyebrows.
I mean how many things am I actually meant to do to those two small patches of hair in order to be properly groomed?
And why did we not have to do them in the 80s or 90s?

YDBear · 21/03/2024 18:45

Threesomes

Stupidliefromfriend · 21/03/2024 18:46

Starbucks

Bubble tea

don’t get it

Got taken for bubble tea by someone who was sure they were introducing me to something amazing. I nearly threw up. The only thing that stopped me was the thought that vomiting up slimy balls might be the one thing worse than swallowing them down. It was grotesque.

Lesina · 21/03/2024 18:55

ShinyAppleDreamingOfTheSea · 21/03/2024 10:21

I've never had bubble tea. And thus description has just put me off it.

Calliopespa · 21/03/2024 19:05

“Fun” Runs. And as they are normally at an ungentlemanly early hour on a weekend morning I really question everything about the people who partake. But whatever these people are ( driven? Bored? Desperate to impress?) “fun” is the last word that springs to mind . Sweat Runs would make more sense.

SapphireSeptember · 27/03/2024 22:12

I love bubble tea, but understand others may not. I like popping the bubbles in my mouth. 😁

Running for funsies. Nope.
Getting drunk. Absolutely not.
Smoking/vaping. No.
Getting a dog. Hell no!

Getting the last post in though, yay! 😁
