Everything 'salted caramel'
Prosecco
Fake mosaic tiles

I agree with the salted caramel, there are barely any other flavours, so it’s salty burnt sugar. As if cakes made in shops need more sugar.

i much prefer some fruit flavour, or better still real fruit.

We really put up with rubbish in this country. Go abroad and their supermarkets have decent bakeries. What do we get? mass produced glucose syrup and gum, in different forms

Anxiouslump · 20/03/2024 19:47

Tony’s Chocolate.

Definitely.

Please take Prosecco away too. Yes I'm blonde and possess a vagina. No, I can't stand Prosecco please stop assuming I'm going get excited about cheap white fizz.

Crispy cremes can do one as well.

Aubaslice · 20/03/2024 22:02

Influencers of all kinds. Especially the ones who do "get ready with me" and "come clean with me" videos. Why do people spending their precious free time watching other people clean their houses?

UnctuousUnicorns · 20/03/2024 22:02

"ABBA voyage 'concert'"

Fuck yeah. Humans over holograms any day. I'd sooner save my money and stay at home and watch my ABBA DVD. 🤷‍♀️ OTOH, I would - and have - travel(lled) the length and breadth of the country to see a live, human band or singer that I love, performing live. Holograms don't sweat, humans do.

Maldives is my favourite holiday destination, I go every year. What do you dislike?

I think it was the expectation of absolutely mind blowing beautiful beaches. But my experience was a narrow, quite steep beach. For me a beautiful beach should be pristine, and miles long and reaching many tens of metres wide.

We walked around the entire island and I starkly remember looking across at another island, densely packed with machinery and rough housing and where presumably locals lived. It made it all seem so fake. All the staff were apparently Bangladeshi, the owners (of the 5 star island) English. It all seemed fake and made me uncomfortable. But then, hanging around on holiday isn’t my kind of thing.

The diving was excellent though. Manta rays swimming above us, will always remember that.

Cupcakes
Cakes
Cronuts or most trendy bakery items

thesleepyhoglet · 20/03/2024 22:04

Well I disagree with so many of these! But I really enjoyed my trip to the Harry Potter Studios. Surprise people think it's over hyped. My shark vacuum is also so much better than my previous Dyson

raspberryjuiceandpompoms · 20/03/2024 22:08

@speedtalker it depends on where you were. I remember Maldives exactly that -super shallow warm waters, fine white sand for as long as your eyes can see..

Cesarina · 20/03/2024 22:08

"JUS"
It's f**ing gravy, for God's sake 😡

Fouramclub · 20/03/2024 22:09

Laboheme78 · 20/03/2024 21:35

Wuthering heights. Heathcliff is an absolute brute, there are puppies being murdered at every turn and the heroine is unhinged. How do so many people think it’s a great book?! 😂

Also Jane Eyre. Everyone at school loved it and raved about Mr Rochester and I was like hello he imprisoned his wife and said she was mad then married the nanny. He was so rude!!! WTF

Blankscreen · 20/03/2024 22:10

Another vote for Harry Potter Studios tour. It was so boring.

Musicals are just cringey.

Fofftwenty21 · 20/03/2024 22:10

Roast dinners
Harry Potter
Strictly

EmmaOvary · 20/03/2024 22:11

thesleepyhoglet · 20/03/2024 22:11

The musical Six is bloody awful.

Bakewellpuddingandcustard · 20/03/2024 22:12

Dr Amir Khan.

So smug and obviously now loves himself now he's made it on the Telly. Unpopular opinion I know.

Sithi · 20/03/2024 22:12

Lengthy skin care routines
