Have just seen news saying that associated press have withdrawn photo as it appears "manipulated". V strange

To allude to the fact Kate and William are still together when it’s an open secret that they are no longer living together - Maybe?

Maybe it was Kate that wanted us to know if she edited it.

Editing a photo to make you look better is understandable, I'd do it myself given the chance, but for the life of me I can't get why Kate would bother to fiddle with Charlotte's hand/cuff - what was that about?

Omg...PW takes the camera, presses the button, hands camera (or phone) back to POW,who takes camera/ phone/ whatever and edits it...how can this be so problematic? POW seems to be the photographer in the family so makes sense she would edit it. If they release a picture with one of the children with a cut to their finger it will literally make headlines, so POW edits it out. If everyone smiling except.Louis who is sticking his tongue out but everything else perfect, why not edit it out. If I could do this I would to some.of my pictures but I'm not great with technology.

I find it hard to believe that a 'secret' is being successfully kept by the Wales family, the Royal Family, the Middletons and their friends, the Wales's children's friends, schoolmates, school staff and all their families, all the Windsor estate staff and their families, all the staff at Kensington Palace & Buckingham Palace and their families, sections of the press & media ... I mean, really?

Don't forget that when Diana's marriage to Charles was seriously melting down, she chose to be photographed, alone, in front of the Taj Mahal. The royals can't say much until there are official announcements, but she did let the photograph tell the story that day.

Tbh you've got that wrong. Pic was sent to Computer with Photoshop software. Edited there.

What DO we know for sure:

Kate is NOT wearing a wedding ring. Surely that is the very first thing that anyone will check and notice. It’s not there. Quite deliberately.

Its unlikely that Kate was even in the original photo looking at the proportions.
Why bother photoshopping when an abundance of beautiful photos of Kate and the children are available to them?

Why choose a late summer season as a backdrop?

Why has William let his wife that is apparently far too ill to go out or be seen in public take the flak for this?

Why has Camilla and Anne disappeared on an unscheduled trip so suddenly?

Why is Charles trying to carry on as normal despite having cancer?

This is not a conspiracy theorist pursuit, there are some genuinely very concerning behaviours and decision making - dubious lies now in full public view.

I’ve been saying for a while now that as much as I like having a monarchy I don’t think for the mental health of the main players that it can continue, this photoshopped picture is being treated as if it’s an international incident, it’s insane. It would not surprise me if this is the catalyst for William to request a phasing out of the monarchy, I’m sure the future he sees for his children is only going to get worse if the past few days is anything to go by. I really feel for Kate I don’t know how she copes mentally with the onslaught she has had to endure in the past few years.

Agree, I think it’s as simple as she looks shit at the moment.anything else they’d say,

but if they have taken an old image and tried to fake it as new, there is a real issue there, they can’t admit it or release the real image a everyone will know for sure they lied, and a royal family who blatantly lies to the public is in real trouble.

I agree, a child lying to the teacher in school would get in trouble for such behaviour. And we are supposed to pat them on the head and say, oh we understand, it happens...
