Kate's photo appears "manipulated"?

Have just seen news saying that associated press have withdrawn photo as it appears "manipulated". V strange

We have a "right"? Seriously?

I'm surprised anyone editing that thought 'yep, that'll do - noone will notice' 😂

However, I wish the press would leave them alone and stop fuelling the conspiracy theories. They literally laid it bare that she wouldn't be seen for 4 months and I feel really sad that she can't have that time when she feels she needs it. This must be so stressful in a time when they should be enjoying some peace.

Because when we see images in the media we want to trust they are correct especially when they come from a source linked to the head of state of a country

I heard that Kate is more ill than Charles (from someone who works for them all - he didn't say what she has). She doesn't want her children hearing/ reading about her illness via school friends/ online. I think we should all lay off.

My first thought after hearing the news agencies had pulled it was that it must actually misrepresent things- surely if they’d queried the picture and KP had said “oops yes, we spliced together this pic and this pic because Louis had his eyes shut” then that would have been fine? But I can imagine if KP had refused to comment they may have had to take a harder line.

For me, the greatest indicator of it being something minor is the fact it’s such a poor photoshop job. If they’d really cooked up a plan to make things look other than they are, they’d have taken it seriously and done a better job of it?

Kate obviously has what seems serious medical issues that we simply do not need to know about

Maybe we will not see her for another four months maybe we will it isn’t going to impact any of our lives but it does her close family

But I think what they should have done is just not release a picture. There's no need, they don't need to satisfy curiosity and nosiness dressed up as concern by people who don't know her. They should have stuck with "she's recovering, we won't give details".

Releasing an edited picture that gets pulled isn't going to remove any speculation from her. It's just foolish.

But it it is steroids moonface she has all my sympathy. I didn't recognise myself when I had it. It wasn't a vanity thing it was just distressing to look in the mirror and see a face I didn't recognise

So needlessly dramatic to issue a kill notice whatever that is. They issued the photo, if they photoshopped out a toothpaste stain, their choice, they submitted this photo right, how can the press reject it? Really confused. They are trying to coerce her into a pap stroll.

My brother works for a press agency and has said that whilst some editing is normal and expected, they will have pulled this on the basis it goes beyond that. The inference being that POW wasn't in the original and her head has been photoshopped in. So it's an inauthentic and misleading photo. If true.

I think this is credible.

It would explain why the palace is reluctant to issues a statement/ updates every 3 minutes etc as well. Their family is very young and they won't want their children worrying about their mum.

I wish everyone - press, sugars, general public - would just give the woman time to recover. We were told Easter - at least give her until then.

Maybe the photo has been put out there by the Russians or something and they can’t admit they have been hacked to this level until they find out who and how.

Or it’s something major, or nothing in the grand scheme of things.

It was ill advised to post a doctored image. They bowed to the online bullies who demanded to see Kate. I hope the RF are ok, especially Catherine.

Regarding the press, the knives are out and the RF will have to work this out somehow.

This is where a good working relationship with H and M would have been priceless. They could be out and about right now distracting everyone, allowing whatever's going on in the background to be dealt with privately.
