Kate's photo appears "manipulated"?

Have just seen news saying that associated press have withdrawn photo as it appears "manipulated". V strange

What do you think is going on?

Someone on X pointed out the lump on her neck in that photo,most odd!

Who the hell knows - but making a move like this is a statement.

Look at the reflections.. You can see that angular piece of wall, but no one next to it. Also the very top parting of Kates hair, and George's chin. The shadows all seem a bit off too, very strong light in several directions

Also look below louis' right hand, there's a wobble if you follow down that wall to the tiles, and the tiles are just wrong, the red and black ones have melded together

I read a New York Times article that William was photographed driving near the London Clinic, but wasn’t necessarily known to be visiting her. That means nobody was pictured visiting her except the Middleton’s.

But if K and W took the photo edited it ( badly) and or then approved it .. that potentially could explain the lack of attention to these minor details. I'm just skeptical about the media driven hype over this. The POW sells alot of newspapers and magazines and if she is off the scene they make it up to fill the gap.

I'm quite sure reuters and AP have produced the edited, mocked up, photocopied pictures of the Kardashaians without hesitation.

Perhaps, but not for the truth of the matter being represented. To reputable news outlets, publishing a photograph that likely misrepresents a matter of public interest is closely akin to misrepresentation in the text of the story.

Something is not quite right.
Think it is about time KP comes clean , because the conspiracy theories are gaining traction.

My personal theory is we’re being trolled by William & Catherine. I can imagine the fun they had on Saturday night, carefully manipulating the pic with false clues to see how many would be spotted. The children are clearly in on it by the look of their laughing faces. All their hands visible in odd positions showing in the picture are part of the joke!

The fact that it’s photoshopped isn’t a big deal. Pretty much every picture you see will be tweaked.

It’s the media’s public ‘pulling’. They know it’s misleading and aren’t playing ball with the RF. Doing this is going to cause hassle and embarrassment for them and they’ve done it anyway.

Maybe restrictions on him visiting due to security as the future monarch??

When I first saw the headline that it had been pulled because of manipulation, I thought they meant, fears that she’d been manipulated into doing the photo - enormous public pressure & media pressure.

To me it seems if Kate is fine and looking reasonably well this ‘fake’ photo wouldn’t be necessary. So obviously she isn’t well enough to be photographed, or she doesn’t want to be part of a happy families facade. Whichever of those options it is, things don’t look good.
KP have dug themselves an enormous hole which they are going to struggle to extricate themselves from. They are losing credibility by the minute .

Someone needs to get a grip on the situation and start telling the truth.

I heard somewhere today that previously all of the personal pictures in the past eg Diana and Charles certain newspapers/reporters would be allowed in the take the photographs.

As far as I am aware ( as an uninformed member of the public) it is only in more recent years that these personal pics are being taken by the likes of the POW herself...so the media is losing out on that access so maybe why they're not playing ball with the rf.

Yep, I think this. The press and the palace are basically having a staring contest. The media is peeved with KP for their crap handling of this, and taunting them to clarify things. Charles will be involved and I reckon someone will blink tomorrow.

Is it possible they don't want her illness plastered all over the papers to protect their children from the scaremongering stories, prognosis, etc that always follows these things.

but you would need to take it via a phone then use software editing to alter it which then suggests why the need to alter so much and if it was copying and pasting a number of photos then why all the errors as usually Ai is not that sloppy

No idea about Kate and it's no one's business, but watching the power shift between the two aforementioned parties is interesting.

Well, the children have now been dropped right in it. It would be easy enough to armour them against press speculation about a prognosis. But this is the gift that just keeps on giving. Good luck to the school trying to keep the lid on this one in the playground/at recess.
