Re-watching old Walking Dead and I'd forgotten about the wonderfully-named producer Caleb Womble.

Best name ever, for me. What's yours?

My Food Tech teacher was Mrs Baker, and I was taught music by Mr Vinall. Not exactly amazing names but a nice bit of nominative determinism!

Paisley19 · 07/03/2024 08:02

Hugh Cumber. I shit you not. His parents must hate him.

It's a nickname. His name is Harold Bird. Unless you mean someone other than the cricket umpire.

I used to work with a Richard Bird. My absolute favourite names that I've come across are an elderly lady called Primrose Polkinghorne and my ex boss Selwyn Mould.

I used to have a customer called Russel Sprout

TinselSniffer · 07/03/2024 09:05

Christopher Lillicrap used to amuse me as a child.

I think Isambard Kingdom Brunel is a magnificent name.

I used to work with a Mike Hunt. I don't know why he didn't go by Michael or Mick, it was very awkward when putting clients through to him, 'you need to speak to Mike Hunt' etc.

howaboutchocolate · 07/03/2024 09:09

I always think Mardy Fish has a great name.
