What's good from Sainsburys?

I'm usually faithful to Tesco but I'm bored and want to try sainos.

What's good? What should I try?

Food and drink

I love their cheese and onion bakes. Delicious on baby salad leaves.

Their own label washing liquid. It comes in a carton like a drink carton. It’s a 1/3 of the cost compared to big names.

Their crinkle cut gherkins taste like McDonald's ones

I like their rolled breast of lamb, which I make a stew out of, in my slow cooker.

i just buy whatever i need to make the meals i've planned, I don't go to Sainsburys for anything different just because it's sainsburys!

Mostly Sainsbury's has just been making me cross lately. (What the heck torture-beating regime they must put apples through, I just don't understand.) But they still get my business for these, all their own brand:

• Frozen Super Crispy Skin On Chips
• Frozen Whole Green Beans
• Chilled Smooth British Pork Chipolata Sausages
• Chilled Thin & Crispy 10" Pizza Bases

Fair enough. I'm quite poor so a Sainsburys shop feels like a big fancy treat to me!!

That's how I used to feel about Sainsbury's 😂
But lately they haven't been worth it. Maybe it's just my local shop that's the problem, though.

The nectar points, I save them all year and do my Christmas food shop on them.

They also do an aldi price match so its like shopping at two shops in one.

Shortbread in the red packet. Best supermarket shortbread in my opinion. I buy several packs whenever I go into sainsbury's as ots not my regular supermarket.

I always find sainsbury's overpriced for the quality. It's about 20% more expensive than Asda but poorer quality.

Recycled loo roll and own brand wee sausage rolls (vegetarian, not vegan)
