Someone mentioned he is hero Halliwell's husband but could be in trouble at work?

I was involved in the fringes of F1 for a while. Geri relentlessly pursued Horner and was absolutely determined to get him. In some ways it was embarrassing to watch as he wasn't interested at first but she just didn't give up and he couldn't move without her being there. It definitely wasn't love at first sight as she says it was. I'm really surprised they ended up together and have always been a bit bewildered by the lovey dovey photos of them. So I'm not really surprised at these revelations in some ways. He's ended up looking a total twat.

I’m more surprised that anyone didn’t realise the man’s a total sleazebag - I mean, leaving your pregnant long term partner for a perceived trade up and your parents then being so appalled at your behaviour they don’t attend your wedding doesn’t inspire much confidence as to the man being a decent human being!! The smoking gun in the messages is when he asks where the boundaries should be and she says something along the lines of ‘ask yourself if Geri would approve of what your saying/doing/thinking’.

Before the enquiry the word was that he had been repeatedly advised to resign, and that no one saw him remaining in post.

Then there were murmurs that the Thai owners didn't think the messages were a big deal. I don't know enough about Thai culture to know if the power dynamic between a senior manager and his assistant would be viewed in the same way. It is rumoured that this is why he survived the enquiry. I don't know how true that is though.

I don't know about Thai culture, but the Asian culture in general is definitely very different to ours. DH has worked a lot with colleagues from various parts of Asia and the females are absolutely subservient to the males higher up. DH said it often made him and other British/european colleagues quite uncomfortable. They probably wouldn't blink an eye at these messages.

I'd imagine he would accept it if the divorce papers were issued but will never get over losing his CEO red-bull job.

It was glorious yesterday, watching him swan into the paddock with a smug smirk on his ratty little face, then an hour later get the nod that all of the other team bosses and all of the major global news rooms had had the data dump and sat with his head in his hands.

He is a shit, at work and out of it, a cheat, a liar, a shaggabout and his chat is seriously dry. Plus, if that really is his knob, well, poor Geri! Actually, not poor Geri, because who runs off with someone else's husband while his wife is pregnant?

Lots of people crying 'fake news' and 'AI generated' this morning, but all of the news rooms have the tech to confirm reliability of evidence, plus AI generated images of him don't even look like him, and the images clearly do.

As for people saying the employee didn't 'shut him down', she clearly tried and who tells their boss his a creepy twat if they actually like their job? Tale as old as time.

God he's no catch though is he, and he cant string together a decent sentence either. None of them come out of this well - Geri for chasing after an attached man, the PA for sleeping with one and him for being an idiot!

The only thing I would say is that I don’t feel too sorry for the PA. From the screenshots it’s very evident that she has had an affair of some kind with him, and has had to pretend to be all innocent while around Geri. While she’s not the one who’s married, it’s still a shitty thing to do to have an affair with a married man - especially when you’ll have to be interacting with their wife.

Of course she doesn’t deserve to be harangued and harassed, no question. But I just think she’s a bit of a shitty person too, tbh. Some of her comments made me wonder if she was hoping that history would repeat itself and that he’d leave Geri for her.

But yeah, he’s utterly vile. Would love to know how he’s been cleared of any wrongdoing. Reading his messages made my skin crawl.

Some misinformation on here. She does not ask him why he stopped putting her name on hotel bookings, he puts forward seperate hotels and she says as she’s his pa that would be pointless. And irs not a pic of his penis. It’s a finger. Clearly.

Christian Horner is far more concerned about holding onto his Red Bull role than he is about divorce papers.

If Christian Horner loses his Red Bull role over this, he will be heartbroken and will have difficulty getting a similar role in F1 as the other team's won't touch him. If Geri leaves, I have no doubt that he will find a replacement quite quickly.

This is your interpretation and I would say it is nonsense. Yes she was there, but she was in a relationship with him and it’s ludicrous to suggest you are so close to him you know if he was interested or not. My take it was at least mutual.

@Janehasamane you're right, it was my take on it. And I may be wrong. But based on what I saw I haven't changed my mind. He deserves everything he gets though - quite possible that he'll lose both his job and his marriage.

It's not a sex addiction it's an ego the size of a house. Had a pregnant partner, decided he wanted someone else, got Geri. Got his happy family life, got his big CEO job, £8M salary, has his private jets and first class jetset lifestyle travelling the world all arranged for by his team.... like many men his feet did not remain on the ground and he just wanted the next play thing. It's backfired. Losing his job and dignity will be something he never recovers from.

I actually think he's quite hot in a cartoon villain dirty fuck type way. But the finger in the bathroom pic is distinctly not hot. Eww.

That was grim reading. I feel sorry for both of his children. Imagine the grief they'll be getting at school. I can't see him holding on to his job although he may hold on to his wife.
