How to look as amazing as Pippa Middleton in a bikini?!?

Not a goady thread just genuinely want to know how to look as toned and in such good shape. Am the same age as Pippa. Just saw some photos of her on the DM (don’t judge) and she looks absolutely fantastic. Healthy but so fit. I would not look so good in a bikini. What do I need to do?!?

I think her body looks hard and masculine. I’m a bit too fat and I don’t like my body particularly either. But I don’t really think hers is what I’d be aiming for.

Be rich. Less pressures on day to day survival means you can enjoy life and take advantage of healthy eating and exercise because you have time to. I'm sure they are busy but if you are rich it tends to be more productive and rewarding than getting min wage on a 12hr shift doing something boring.

Stop comparing yourself to the insanely unattainable and love who you see in the mirror. Done!

Gobolina · 20/02/2024 08:09

Being thin/muscular/toned isn't unattainable. Yes a lot of us have a way to go to get there (if thats where we want to get to) but lots of normal people are already and its possible to get there from being fat/untoned/no muscle. It just takes dedication and consistency. Its easier if you are rich and your time is your own but its not unattainable if you aren't. You just might have to put yourself out a bit by getting up earlier for example, plus having discipline around the treat tin.

Being rich doesn’t make any difference to building muscles, it’s not easier.

pure Gym has all the equipment you need, and better in some cases than the expense gyms ( obviously it depends)

uou might have to pay out for some knowledge, but once you have a program you can train in any setting.

pure gym is 24 hrs and it’s quiet at 5am compared to 5pm, an ideal time to go when the D.C. are in bed still 😂

it’s depends what you want to do and not everyone that is rich has a slim muscular body

I gave up smoking 20 years ago and my luxury said Lloyd membership was cheaper than smoking by around 15% a month, now the gym membership is 25% cheaper

Many people are fit and healthy and live a perfectly normal life. If you tell yourself you need good genes, chefs and personal trainers then you are giving yourself excuses. They do however make life easier.

Many people simply make conscious food choices and fit movement into their day - just like humans should.

If you are a person that believes eating a normal diet is actually a diet, or that by not eating the wrong foods and drinks, you are denying yourself - you are misunderstanding some key concepts about how humans should eat and live.

Being rich gives you money to outsource drudgery.... giving you more time to exercise. That's all.

Yes ordinary people can do this to an extent but it means they end up sacrificing other time.

So let's say after your 9-5 job, commute and household chores, you have 1.5 hours a day free and you use it to exercise. Excellent , good for you. Day has now gone.

If you don't work and have a housekeeper or staff. You can work out for three hours and still have lots more time left over for other things compared with the first example.

'Being rich gives you money to outsource drudgery.... giving you more time to exercise. That's all.'

It is perfectly possible to eat healthily and do some physical activity to keep the pounds off even if not loaded.

This defeatist attitude is why there are so many obese people about.

Did you read the rest of my post. Yes it's possible but more time makes it easier. More time makes most things easier.

But there's a difference between being averagely slim and reasonably fit and being built like a professional athlete. Slim and reasonably fit is achievable for your average person....being as fit as PM is more like being athlete and takes considerably more dedication and time.

I wouldn’t want to look like that in a bikini to be honest, having a flat stomach is one thing but she has absolutely no softness or curves of any kind, and I actually like having boobs and a bum and a waist. I don’t think such developed trap muscles look particularly attractive on anyone (male or female) either.
That being said, she’s obviously worked hard for that body and if she’s happy with it then good for her.

DreadPirateRobots · 21/02/2024 09:20

It appears Pippa is an endurance athlete, so her build and current physical condition make sense. Endurance athletes carry as little as possible, literally - only the bare minimum body fat and only as much lean muscle as they really need - because that's what they need to perform in their sport. Take a look at the way a long-distance runner is built.

Call me crazy, but I respect someone who trains their body to perform highly and achieve for themselves more than someone whose only priority is looking conventionally "sexy" and satisfying the male gaze.

LuciferRising · 21/02/2024 11:02

I agree - why does a women being fit and healthy always come back to whether they look good or not - why can't women simply be as they are because it is what is needed to achieve goals within a particular sport?

A slim and fit body like Pippa's is achievable but requires commitment, including:

  • walk (at a brisk pace) as much as possible
  • work out 30-40 minutes 5-6 time week: cardio, core/abs, weights/dumbbells
  • eat a healthy, Mediterranean type diet
I'm a huge fan of Caroline Girvan (especially EPIC Heat) for weights and Growingannanas for HIIT/cardio. Plus planks, lots of planks. I've been doing the Bowflex 3-minute plank every day for many years. Not forgetting push-ups and wall sits...

The reward? Well, I am 70 and superfit. I find my hour-long daily workouts hugely enjoyable and motivating. After a short rest, and after I've had some protein & vegetables, I actually feel more energetic than if I did not exercise. You couldn't pay me enough to stop exercising.

You sound fantastic! Can only hope to be that fit going through life 🙏
