How to look as amazing as Pippa Middleton in a bikini?!?

Not a goady thread just genuinely want to know how to look as toned and in such good shape. Am the same age as Pippa. Just saw some photos of her on the DM (don’t judge) and she looks absolutely fantastic. Healthy but so fit. I would not look so good in a bikini. What do I need to do?!?

@Janiie she has a fit figure but it's not a nice shape. We all have a structure. Hers is just not very nice

Babyroobs · 18/02/2024 19:18

Today's flesh coloured bikini isn't so great ! Not sure why anyone would chose that colour ?? Do wish the press would just leave her to enjoy her holiday in peace though.

tutttutt · 18/02/2024 19:24

The first two pictures are beautiful figures. Pippa is fit. But it's not most people's idea of their dream body.

Looks very impressive to me. Not a roll or lump/bump in sight. Poor Pippa having folk criticise her for being fit and toned. Think we get used to seeing fat people that she stands out. Not sure having a pic of Halle Berry is fair I doubt anyone of us would fair well next to her..

ssd · 18/02/2024 19:50

I think pippa would be slim if she worked in asda and had married a bin man. She just has great genes.

Scrolling through those I actually laughed when I got to Pippa. It's the shoulders I think

ssd · 18/02/2024 19:52

Her husband is very slim too.

I actually think they look alike

PaminaMozart · 18/02/2024 19:55

Pippa looks super fit.
Halle Berry just looks toned.

Plus I'm sure they started out with very different body shapes, due to very different genes, so Pippa would never look like Halle, even if she focused on toning instead of weight training and sports.

Halle is VERY fit. She has type 1 diabetes so lives an extraordinarily disciplined life. She has an incredible figure.

I genuinely set up this thread with good intentions. I think Pippa looks in great health and fit. I am really close in age to her and looking for tips as am struggling to get back into exercise after 2 dc.
it was not set up as a judgment on her type of figure, not at all.

A slim and fit body like Pippa's is achievable but requires commitment, including:

  • walk (at a brisk pace) as much as possible
  • work out 30-40 minutes 5-6 time week: cardio, core/abs, weights/dumbbells
  • eat a healthy, Mediterranean type diet
I'm a huge fan of Caroline Girvan (especially EPIC Heat) for weights and Growingannanas for HIIT/cardio. Plus planks, lots of planks. I've been doing the Bowflex 3-minute plank every day for many years. Not forgetting push-ups and wall sits...

The reward? Well, I am 70 and superfit. I find my hour-long daily workouts hugely enjoyable and motivating. After a short rest, and after I've had some protein & vegetables, I actually feel more energetic than if I did not exercise. You couldn't pay me enough to stop exercising.

@tutttutt thats just horrible. Women come in all shapes and sizes, naturally. Other women should appreciate and celebrate that.

Why would you say such unpleasant stuff like this? She doesn't look like any 'scrawny men' I've ever seen.

PaminaMozart · 18/02/2024 20:24

If you consider it acceptable to compare Pippa with a 'scrawny man' @tutttutt , do you also say similarly shitty things about people you know in real life if they do not live up to your (misguided) perceptions of physical beauty?

43ontherocksporfavor · 18/02/2024 20:27

@PaminaMozart admirable that you’re so fit and strong at 70. Good to hear.

KirstenBlest · 18/02/2024 20:35

@tutttutt , you are comparing posed photos with a photo of a woman on holiday. The white bikini top is too small.

GingerSquid · 18/02/2024 20:37

Pippa is in great shape after three kids! But like lots of people have said, she’s not strung out like most of us “normal” non-millionaire mums! She has a very boyish frame naturally and actually a very long torso and short legs; it’s not a body type I’d choose, whilst I can still admire her tone and athleticism.

ps I’ve worked for Pippa when she was a party planner / manager … she was very snobby and not particularly nice. She was fine to me, but sent a girl home for being too large … no joke, she asked for size 6-10 hostesses only and this girl was pushing a 12 … but was the most stunning girl, much more beautiful than Pippa facially. It was a very upscale fashion party with a theme at an art gallery.

Doesn't surprise me. That family 'manages up'. We all know the sort. Unbelievably nice and gracious to those in ranks above them but ghastly to those they have moved above. Kate was horrible to Meghan. She wanted no competition. You think they got where they are by being nice? They schmoozed their way up the ranks so the 'right' people liked them but didn't hesitate to make sure those they surpassed didn't think for a moment they should dare try to mix with them. Ghastly family.

KirstenBlest · 18/02/2024 20:47

And some of us are just horrible.

Gophering · 18/02/2024 20:56

tutttutt · 18/02/2024 19:03

I'm agog that anyone thinks she has a great figure. She is very fit and lean but her figure is not at all covetable. Short legs. No curves. Sloping shoulders. I think she looks like a female version of her husband

Is it not possible to have a good figure with short legs and no curves?

The pic in the white bikini looks like an AI pic of Jennifer Aniston, don't think it's real anyway!

I hope you don't have children or work with children, you are foul.

JuneSoon · 19/02/2024 08:01

*I’ve just got back from the holiday of a lifetime, where I spent way too much time feeling self-conscious in my bikini because of how white I am, and wishing I had a tan to camouflage all the lumps and bumps.

@LunaNorth - if you're still on this thread!

Nowt wrong with being pale but if it makes you self conscious get yourself some Garnier Summer Body. It's easy to use and actually delivers on its promise of a "light sun-kissed glow."

Game changer for me as no matter how much I tried to convince myself I was an Englush rose, I dreaded getting my legs out in Summer- let alone anything else 🙂

LunaNorth · 19/02/2024 10:42

@JuneSoon I've been through the whole fake tan thing, but the thing is, I spend a lot of time on holiday in the water, and I end up blotchy.

Thanks for the tip, though.
