What's your favourite tea bags? I always have Tetley but fancy trying something new. Do you notice a different taste with different tea bags?

Punjana, hands down.🤗🤗🤗

mnahmnah · 16/02/2024 22:44

Yorkshire Tea, always!

But - if it is on offer - Yorkshire Gold is the absolute best.

Frosty1000 · 16/02/2024 22:45

Yorkshire gold every time but twinings English breakfast an alternative if needed.

Hate the taste of others.

Ringtons Gold. Beats Yorkshire, hands down!

fishfingersandtoes · 16/02/2024 22:46

Yorkshire or twinnings Assam

Agree 100% . We buy anything from 4-6 packs from our driver / delivery man a month .

Meadowflower2023 · 16/02/2024 22:49

Yorkshire Tea. I have Tetley's when I go to my Nans and best friends and it's just nowhere near as nice imo.

You know, DM got Ringtons for a while and I found the taste really odd. Not like tea at all

ChangeUsername123 · 16/02/2024 22:50

@mnahmnah my sister says the same! But you’re both wrong!😂

Pigglyplaystruant99 · 16/02/2024 22:51

Yorkshire tea and Tetleys as a second

Howtonamechange · 16/02/2024 22:53

Ahmed tea is our go to, otherwise twining assam

Limeandsodaontherocks · 16/02/2024 22:53

Barry’s

ErrolTheDragon · 16/02/2024 22:54

Yorkshire, but not the Gold - DH and I did a blind taste test on each other and both preferred the 'ordinary'. Or an Assam if I want a slightly stronger flavour.

Fourmagpies · 16/02/2024 22:55

Twining extra strong but only buy it when it's on offer which fortunately is quite often.

M&S gold 👌

stayathomer · 16/02/2024 22:57

Am in Ireland so Lyon’s. Dying to try Tetleys as am new to tea (started liking it after taste buds changed due to Covid!)

RosesAndHellebores · 16/02/2024 22:58

Twinings Extra Strong Breakfast Teas, followed by Yorkshire.

I used to like PG Tips but it's awful now.

Spanglybangles · 16/02/2024 22:58

Twinings Everyday is the best (I think)

Notateacheranymore · 16/02/2024 23:03

PG Tips is my favourite “ordinary tea” but also like Twinings Everyday tea and am a recent convert to Yorkshire “Toast and Jam” and “Biscuit” tea although I despise the regular YT. Too robust.

The tea of teas for me, no longer available, was the Twinings Earl Grey with Lavender. I don’t like Earl Grry or Lady Grey - both too perfumed, EGL was LUSH!!!

Notateacheranymore · 16/02/2024 23:04

Oh, and Tetley’s is MIL’s tea of choice. The only thing I don’t like about her is her choice of tea!!!

Funusername · 16/02/2024 23:05

Recently tried Waitrose basics. Very nice.
PG tips.

Aydel · 16/02/2024 23:06

Punjana or Birchall’s.

DancingFerret · 16/02/2024 23:07

Yorkshire Gold. At the other end of the scale is Tetley; not refreshing and tastes like mud - IMO, of course.

augustusglupe · 16/02/2024 23:07

M&S Gold
