Did anyone guess the twist in Sixth Sense when you first watched it?

Spoiler below

When watching the sixth sense for the first time, did anyone guess that Bruce Willis was dead before it got revealed?

I just watched it now and it feels SO obvious! I feel like if I watched it for the first time in 2024 I would’ve guessed. But back when it came out I didn’t

Yes! It’s the most disappointing film I’ve ever seen.
people rave about it though.

I’ve never seen anyone mention this before so thank you for this thread!!!

I heard it was a film with a great twist. So I went to the cinema with my son excited to see if. I knew immediately that the person was dead so thought that surely isn’t the twist thats so obvious we all know that. So I watched waiting for the great twist. Then the film ended. That was it. There was no twist. I said in the cinema - that’s the worst film I’ve ever seen what rubbish etc etc. people were looking at me strangely.

and then for years afterwards I’ve heard people talk about it and not a one has had my experience. It’s supposed to be an amazing film. People having to go twice after they realise the plot etc.

That's exactly the same as me!

I love those films , the village has the best twist too as do a lot of other M.night shylaman ( sp) films . I only read books with a twist though as I live trying to guess it .

The audience expect his films to have a twist ,so they look for them . He also usually appears in a cameo role , so you have to look out for him .

I don’t think people can complain about spoilers when the name of the post is literally about guessing an ending of a film? I realised after everyone in the room were oohing and aahing over it. I felt like Joey from Friends (the encyclopaedia one!!)

Many people went into the film knowing there was a twist, or guessed early on while trying to spot it, @Feb123

I think aside from the twist it stands alone as a good ghost story. A minor twist is the girl who had been poisoned (her younger sister had started with similar symptoms), and this was revealed by the video her father had been given by Cole.

I had seen The Others shortly before it so I was quite in tune with ghosts who don't know they're ghosts.

The one I remember gasps for at the twist/reveal was Now You See Me.

(And Frozen. Grin)

I never seem to get them. I get so absorbed enjoying a movie that I don't think to. I didn't get this one or Angelheart or The Others.
