Apparently it's Labour's fault

Nigel Farage calls on 'cancelled' Lee Anderson to join Reform and destroy the Tories | Politics | News | Express.co.uk

But Conservative MPs are already concerned that Sunak is "dancing to Labour's tune."
Labour had been on the ropes after rampant antisemitism had been exposed again the party and some believe the Islamophobia accusations are "a deliberate distraction".

Nigel Farage calls on 'cancelled' Lee Anderson to join Reform and destroy Tories

EXCLUSIVE: Nigel Farage has told Lee Anderson he should quit the Tories and join Reform UK after being dramatically suspended.

pointythings · 24/02/2024 21:31

@cakeorwine well, maybe they should have sat on Lee Anderson a little harder and made him keep his big mouth shut - they have only themselves to blame for not having any discipline in the ranks.

ilovesooty · 24/02/2024 21:31

Dowden will claim that Sunak has acted decisively. Calling it now.

BIossomtoes · 24/02/2024 21:32

Of course it’s Labour’s fault. If they hadn’t kicked 30p out he’d never have been a Tory 🙄

Dowden will claim that Sunak has acted decisively. Calling it now.

And yet he's been a runaway MP for months now. Should have got rid of him last year at best. Open racism and then reacts? Not the actions of someone who professes to be pro active. Sunak is reactive at best. Totally beyond any governance.

He also should stand up to Braverman and Truss. And we won't forget Badenoch either.

placemats · 24/02/2024 21:39

Sunak has led the Tories into destruction. Could that have been his plan?

LittleBowSheep · 24/02/2024 21:40

Lol, I did wonder how long it would be before 30P Lee losing his seat became Labour's fault.

newnamethanks · 24/02/2024 22:00

O come on, you all know that everything is the fault of Jeremy Corbyn and that he should accept the blame for Sunak hanging on to the obvious racists in his party, and gor 14 years of deteriorating social order in this country.

Oh yes, of course. But Jeremy Corbyn 😁

placemats · 24/02/2024 22:42

Don't forget that Starmer set up his leadership SIX months before Corbyn resigned.

DuncinToffee · 24/02/2024 22:45

It's the PLOT Grin

It's not even sleaze anymore now but open racism, anti democratic sentiment, a shrug to scandals, openly funding those who donate and a massive reduction in the polls.

IClaudine · 25/02/2024 07:28

He really has a nerve, given the hatred he himself has whipped up.

Saucery · 25/02/2024 07:45

He’s effectively backing up Anderson by sticking to the ‘extremism’ line.

jasflowers · 25/02/2024 07:50

Don't worry, the media will now focus on Rayner and buying a council house.

Anderson will be pushed to one side and this will be the topic run by the politics shows today.
Lead article with "the Papers" on Sky News :(

IClaudine · 25/02/2024 07:57

That is beyond pathetic.

She bought the house in 2007, is that right? She wasn't even an MP then. Do they expect her to time travel and undo her purchase?

newnamethanks · 25/02/2024 08:24

Bungs by the bucketload for Tories, sackcloth and ashes for Labour. It's the Natural Order of Things according to the New Tories 'We Thrive on Division'.

cakeorwine · 25/02/2024 09:07

Ready to play bingo with Dowden

cakeorwine · 25/02/2024 09:09

Unable to answer a simple question about Islamophobia

this is where encouraging culture wars leads to. Bit late to be playing the naivety card. There hasn’t been a ‘traditional’ Tory party since 2016 at least.

This is the faintly ridiculous but dangerous place dickheads playing at politics leads to. The whole thing is a bin fire.

cakeorwine · 25/02/2024 09:15

This is a car crash interview for Dowden

Cornettoninja · 25/02/2024 09:18

Did dowden genuinely just say that a person can’t be expected to properly hear all points made. During a debate?

I’d argue a person isn’t suited to debates if they’re that incompetent, definitely not publicly and speaking for an entire country.

Has he ever done any other kind? He’s thick as mince.
