Looks like the coward died in the Thames [edit by MNHQ]

Police think Abdul Shokoor Ezedi "died in the Thames", having last been seen leaning over Chelsea bridge.

Couldn't face the disability and disfigurement that he had attempted to inflict on helpless girls, but rebounded onto himself , maybe.

Couldn't face justice - coward

It is likely Abdul Shokoor Ezedi died after going into the river at Chelsea Bridge, police say, but his remains are yet to be found.

I suspect he's dead - he can't possibly leave the country with that injury and he can't disguise himself, so this is pretty much his only way out.

TempName247 · 09/02/2024 22:43

They might be reporting this to make him think they aren’t looking for him, to draw him out of hiding.

WickedSerious · 09/02/2024 22:48

MissRheingold · 09/02/2024 17:43

Or someone saw him and chucked him in.

I could live with this.

RunningFromInsanity · 09/02/2024 22:51

I said he had killed himself straight from the get go.

TyrannasaurusJex · 09/02/2024 22:52

User8646382 · 09/02/2024 19:12

Course he didn’t go over the bridge. They don’t want to find him.

why exactly would they not want to find him?

Gymnopedie · 09/02/2024 22:53

This was only going to end one way. Based on the CCTV from the immediate aftermath of the attack he was very severely injured. Without treatment his face would develop an infection that would turn to sepsis, there would be necrosis in more of the tissue and he would be in agony. It would probably kill him anyway. But he couldn't go to a hospital because he'd be recognised immediately, so it's not a surprise.

DamnUserName21 · 09/02/2024 22:55

If true, what a shame!

The fucker never should have been granted asylum after his conviction. All the harm caused and resources wasted because he was.

ForTonightGodisaDJ · 09/02/2024 23:02

It'll be interesting to see what the search team find. On one of the news channels the way the news reader read it out - it sounded so much like a cover up!

Copperoliverbear · 09/02/2024 23:02

I hope he is in there and we are not being lead into a false sense of security, they haven't just lost him.

Poorlymumma · 09/02/2024 23:03

Maybe the police want him to think they've stopped searching.

riceuten · 09/02/2024 23:04

Social media is full of drivel that he’s being protected ‘because he’s a Muslim’ (he wasn’t) and that Sadiq Khan is personally responsible. I’d like to see him brought to justice but won’t cry any bitter hot salty tears of regret at his demise. It’s brought out all the bigots, as usual.

RandomPoster456 · 09/02/2024 23:07

Even if he didn’t jump he can’t possibly be alive surely? With a corrosive burn of that extent even if he had been hidden unless he had been helped by a burns specialist with all the necessary equipment in their spare bedroom, he has to have died from either shock or infection by now. I’m no medic but isn’t your brain right behind your eye and wouldn’t the Alkali just continue to corrode?

SweetBirdsong · 09/02/2024 23:08

Startyabastard · 09/02/2024 22:40

He is the epitome of cowardice.

This! ^

Also, I am wondering if the police are making a statement that they believe he is dead - and they are calling off the search, so he drops his guard? Thinks he's safe..... ??? Then maybe he will get a bit more careless?

I find it unfathomable that he was caught on camera a multitude of times in the 8 or 9 days since the attacks, and yet no-one ever caught him or picked him up, and the police never got there on time if/when someone reported seeing him. It's also unfathomable that NO camera by the Thames - of which there are hundreds - has picked up any footage of him throwing himself into the river.

So much not adding up, and it's beyond bizarre. Confused

I do not believe he is dead. And I certainly do not believe he has chucked himself into the river!

TooOldForThisNonsense · 09/02/2024 23:09

I think it’s most likely he’s dead as the police believe.

he wouldn’t last long without treatment for those injuries otherwise

scumbag

ScierraDoll · 09/02/2024 23:17

I'll believe it when they have a body.
Sadly I think it would be politically convenient for him to be declared dead with no body. The case will be slowly forgotten with the big questions of why he was granted asylum, why the church supported his "conversion" to Christianity will remain unanswered

MiCorazon · 09/02/2024 23:19

I don't believe a word of what the Masonic Metropolitan police are saying sorry nope 👎

Agreed

TyrannasaurusJex · 09/02/2024 22:52

why exactly would they not want to find him?

Is this a genuine question or are you trying to be provocative?

I own a nursery in London and we have a high percentage of vulnerable families, so I have plenty of dealings with the local authority and the London Met. I have seen things that are frankly unbelievable and if I described them on here, I would be accused of racism and my comments would be deleted. So I won’t bother.

"why exactly would they not want to find him?"

Because it's a high profile man hunt where the police has so far failed to find him.

Rather than continuing to spread large amounts of money and time continuing to try and find him with no guarantee of success, then it's just easier for the police to state that because he was seen hanging around on a bridge in London then he "probably " killed himself.

PropertyManager · 10/02/2024 00:11

No loss...

...If indeed he's dead, unless a body is found he may still be at large.

Flamme · 10/02/2024 00:20

I've been thinking for some time he is likely to have committed suicide. It's very obvious that the only CCTV or the only trace whatsoever that anyone has found of him has gone back to the night of the attack, and after that they haven't been able to find any trace of him. It's really difficult for someone to disappear as thoroughly as that unless they have very good criminal connections, which there is no reason to think would be the case with him, so it did seem increasingly likely that he was dead.

They can also be fairly sure if he's still alive he will be located at some point - his injuries are distinctive, without medical intervention, even if they did heal (which they could in time) he would be left with distinctive disfigurement. And if he goes for legit medical help he will be caught.

Flamme · 10/02/2024 00:22

LilBus · 09/02/2024 17:47

I think he’s still alive, can’t believe anyone believes this without a body!

Why can you not believe it, when it's perfectly possibly that a body could have been washed out to sea?

Where do you get the statement that he's been caught on camera after the night of the attack? I've seen nothing publicly released other than sightings on the day the attack took place.

Frangipanyoul8r · 10/02/2024 00:27

No one in their right mind would hide away the UK’s most wanted man with a massive, recognisable facial injury. I’d also assume he was dead.
