Looks like the coward died in the Thames [edit by MNHQ]

Police think Abdul Shokoor Ezedi "died in the Thames", having last been seen leaning over Chelsea bridge.

Couldn't face the disability and disfigurement that he had attempted to inflict on helpless girls, but rebounded onto himself , maybe.

Couldn't face justice - coward

It is likely Abdul Shokoor Ezedi died after going into the river at Chelsea Bridge, police say, but his remains are yet to be found.

Handy for the police, the Home Office, the Church etc if he did top himself. Avoids any fúrther uncomfortable questions. Nothing to see here, move along please.

Good grief 🙄what must it be like to think like this? Such Paranoia, must be hell.

Unfortunately these were my thoughts too @BMW6

I believe the key was in "avoids any fúrther uncomfortable questions", BMW6; you surely couldn't have failed to notice the scramble to avoid responsibility when things have gone badly wrong in the past?

Obviously the chemical attack was down to him and nobody else, but I'd say some hard questions need to be asked as to why he was still here to do it in the first place - and some of us are concerned that it'll now be easier to dodge them

Yes I think it’s reasonable to ask what is going on with a system that allows trafficking a criminal and conversion to Christianity to stay

HistoryBufff3 · 21/02/2024 21:02

I wish she could sue the home office for allowing that cunt to remain here after his sex offending. This was entirely avoidable and they have blood on their hands.

Thanks @Puzzledandpissedoff and @EasternStandard

Are they ever going to publicly confirm whether or not the body found was definitely his? Haven’t heard a thing!

Bloody hell they only found the body on Tuesday.

It would hardly have been in a fresh or easily identifiable state. It will take them time to match DNA or dental records, if they can find them.

i Think it was Monday it was found but yes I’m sure it will be tricky to identify it, however, I thought they’d be able to do it pretty quickly given his poor victims will need to know if he is still out there or not

Mothership4two · 22/02/2024 17:51

The police have said that the body is believed to be him from the clothing (and that dna/dental will take some time). They are basically saying it's him. When it comes through it will be a confirmation of what they (and we) already know.

Mothership4two · 22/02/2024 17:52

On a separate note, I quite strongly feel converting to Christianity should have no relevance whatsoever to someone's immigration claim, in fact it's actually sounds racist. The issue of someone's religious beliefs is only relevant if that would cause them to be persecuted in their own country. The general public were on the whole ignorant of this dubious practice of resident asylum seekers conveniently converting (I certainly was) - and, as in Ezedi's case, their case being approved after being turned down previously.

But then it would be relevant for all people who were going to be deported - because it would mean sending them back to a country where their conversion would mean persecution? Same way being gay/trans/divorced/an unmarried parent/not undergoing FGM isn't an issue for persecution here but could result in imprisonment or death if they're deported.

How quickly they are able to do it doesn't depend on your perception of the victims needs.

It's a forensic process. It's not instantaneous.

Mothership4two · 22/02/2024 18:47

@NeverDropYourMooncup that's basically what I said. It's only relevant if they are going to be persecuted. It shouldn't be used as a "get out of jail free card" to bolster their asylum claim. Nor should it be accepted if someone changes to a state purely because that 'state' will cause them to be persecuted - although I don't know if that would be the case anyway as I expect if you converted for that reason you would just convert back or not reveal you had done it. I'm sure Ezedi didn't come to the UK because of his burning desire to become a Christian. Being persecuted in your country because of your religion (or whatever) and so seeking asylum elsewhere is a separate issue to converting to that country's main religion for a leg up in the system. It's enough of an issue (because of this case) to trigger a Government enquiry.

Looks like he died via the way he came (through the seas) . I doubt civilisation has lost a great contributor.

Oh I dunno, the batshit way this country is going, don't be surprised if Newcastle United hold a minute's silence for him at their next home game.

They should get a one way ticket back out.

Poor woman and poor children and the people that were hurt in the process of trying to save them.
