I'm about to burst not being able to reply to stuff! Someone help me please!

(Yes, I know it's sad and I know everyone asks but I'm a very sad individual and er... yeah that's it really).

They take pictures from style and beauty and laugh at them. Just fyi

Beetlebumm · 08/02/2024 21:16

I've had an account for months and STILL waiting for it to be verified ..... !!!!

Lanawashington · 08/02/2024 21:42

Cant really imagine that anyone is going to risk losing their own account and being banned just to give codes to random mumsnetters

Tattle Code.... I know, I know....
hartof · 08/02/2024 21:43

I got banned from there for being nice about someone so I would recommend it.

exploringshakes · 08/02/2024 21:44

What is a tattle code?

OpalOrchid · 08/02/2024 21:45

Go read the Tattle sub on Reddit. You might well change your mind.

ShirleyPhallus · 08/02/2024 21:46

What are you hoping to post for? I am agog at some of the stuff on there. The Gemma Atkinson / Louise Thompson threads are particularly spiteful

Rainbowunicornsparkle · 08/02/2024 21:47

The Charlotte Dawson thread is horrendous.

TheShellBeach · 08/02/2024 21:47

exploringshakes · 08/02/2024 21:44

What is a tattle code?

A code to let someone sign up to Tattle Life. It's a website.
I wouldn't give a code out because you can be banned for doing so.

TheShellBeach · 08/02/2024 21:48

The Markle thread is good.

Aren't they just. They sound like very damaged, spiteful people.

AnotherDog · 08/02/2024 21:51

I sometimes read the Ingham and Sacconne Joly threads on there. Awful families, but the tattle lot are off the scale with their online stalking. It is addictive reading though. 😅

TheShellBeach · 08/02/2024 21:48

The Markle thread is good.

Good? You think rampant and unchecked racism and misogyny is good.

That site is a cesspit of spite and hate.

Why anybody would want to join baffles me.

People can object to Markle without being racists.

catotangent · 08/02/2024 23:14

@Lanawashington is right. We might end up being banned if we give out codes to unknowns who turn out to be trolls or trouble makers.

Hoglet70 · 09/02/2024 07:33

There is someone I want to stick up for - seriously - so I probably wont be popular haha. The Kate Garraway stuff (not her actually, someone else) has been awful. I really objected to some of the stuff that's been written about her on that one.
On the advice threads though they are all generally pretty supportive of one another and we know people on Mumsnet can be vile to each other so no point being holier than thou here.

What is a tattle code?

You need an invitation code from an established user to join. They are like gold dust. As people have said, you can lose your membership if you invite someone who is not genuine.

I'm not racist and I can't stand the woman!

Rainbowunicornsparkle · 09/02/2024 07:47

You’ll just end up banned if you do. (I’m not banned by the way but they really, really don’t like it if you stick up for anyone.)

girlyjim · 09/02/2024 07:52

Is the invite code a new thing? I signed up a couple of years ago and didn't need one then. I'd give you a code but I never post, I just read occasionally so I probably won't be allowed! I wouldn't really care if I got banned, I feel like I need a bleach shower every time I read the awful stuff on there.

Hoglet70 · 09/02/2024 07:55

@girlyjim I think it's because it's so full now. You couldn't join at all for ages and ages and then it started saying you needed a code.

OP posts:
MeinKraft · 09/02/2024 10:31

You want a code so you can join in one of their threads and tell them all off?? This is why MNers don't get codes

egowise · 09/02/2024 10:44

TheShellBeach · 08/02/2024 23:11

Enjoying a thread that is racist and misogynistic makes you racist and misogynistic.

I stuck up for someone who isn't a creator, the thread wasn't about her she was a friend of the creator who had appeared in videos. They were slating her appearance so I stuck up for her ( tattle seems to be exclusive to skinny people who slate anyone over a size 10, this girl wasn't big at all) and got banned. Lovely bunch of people.

PicklesAndTequila · 09/02/2024 11:23

See, I post on there and don't come across that at all, you need to pick your threads carefully and mine are all fun and very supportive of each other.
