former Beatles the same. I saw a clip last year of Ringo Starr falling onstage and he bounced up again like a rubber ball. It would have taken me considerably longer at less than half his age! Not fair really since they’re all steeped in drugs but there’s also a lot of yoga and vegetarianism afoot in that crowd.

Stones super fan here, been to all the recent tours too.
they cleaned up their act years ago , haven’t touched drugs in an aeon.
even Keith barely drinks now. The occasional spliff circulates in the dressing room with the band but nothing else.
Micks still able to swing his pants through a three hour set at 80, he literally trains like an athlete, he spends hours working out and rehearsing.
Ronnies always been a waif, he’s had cancer twice in the last decade and has had to work really hard to be well enough to continue playing. They’re actually a bit of a bunch of health nuts these days.
the hard drugs years are well behind them, but those years didn’t mess them up and shorten their lives like it would have a mere mortal because the gear was clean, they had medical care and they weren’t sat in freezing squat starving and shitting and sharing dirty needles.
I still think they’re bloody fantastic, the last gig I was at I couldn’t keep up with their energy dancing and I’m half their age.

Jagger does lots of exercise and eats healthily and frugally, as well as being a shrewd businessman. I imagine it is many years since he took drugs or drank to excess.

They've just bought out Bruce Springsteen. He looks like a tank next to them in comparison!

None of my grandparents had heart issues at i their 70s soupfiend. Put him in old people clothes or a hospital gown and he’d look like anyone else his age. Unless you are 80 yourself I don’t get the attraction.

I'm always amazed that Keith is still going. I'm sure I'm not the only one. (I'm delighted he is btw)

Well my parents are in their 80s after healthy life styles no weight issues as such and my mum has high cholesterol, seems just old lady high cholesterol which is being bought down by statins. Its the way of an aging body sometimes

He is energetic, full of vim and vigour, has quite a young presentation, quite a twinkle in his eye in interviews.

wow, my stepmum had a heart-valve replacement at almost the same age (she is almost same age as MJ).

I always thought MJ was hideously ugly. And his dancing is not as fluid as it was. But still admirable level of fitness.

The attraction is his charisma - or "riz" as my kids keep telling me!
That and the fact he's worth $500 million.
He seems like a laugh who doesn't take himself too seriously (see SNL clips).

That's what I heard too. Unlike Keith Richards, he had a relatively healthy lifestyle by the standards of rock stars of that era.

He's also reputed to be tighter than a duck's arse. As Jerry Hall could testify.

Yes. Keith was hot as a young man. Except the teef. But bad or non existent dentistry was the norm in those days.

My DH is very slim and eats like a horse. He seems to be able to eat anything he likes and stays very thin. I am the exact opposite.

Personally I don't think she is 'very beautiful'. Just averagely pretty.
