Coming back to have a go from a different angle looks like.

Maybe not, looks like it's climbing

Moaning5 · 21/01/2024 22:26

@Mojodojocasahaus they’re going to Leipzig I reckon

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 21/01/2024 22:26

@loobylou10 Horrible isn’t it! It’s barely stopped today and it’s supposedly going to be like this for a few days now.

cakeorwine · 21/01/2024 22:26

It's interesting the Leeds hold pattern goes right over LBA on the same bearing as the runway.

Where’s UPS off to? He missed EMA, looked like he was off to London, and now seems to be heading to mainland Europe…

Cologne I presume, UPS's 2 European bases are EMA and Cologne.

mauvish · 21/01/2024 22:27

Wroclaw plane is going to go around again - it's not dropped altitude at all

Yes that is unusual, at MAN they hold them in loops over the Peak District

eg2627 · 21/01/2024 22:28

gosh the amount of passive aggressiveness on this thread! nothing wrong with people being new to flightrader

cakeorwine · 21/01/2024 22:28

Leeds - Alicante is climbing to 15,000

It's not going around if it's at 20,000 feet, it's just circling.

TerrysOrangeScot · 21/01/2024 22:29

There was a Ryanair flight FR555 this afternoon that was going from Manchester to Dublin and landed in France!

eg2627 · 21/01/2024 22:29

and changed direction! finally out of the loop

They did, yes, and now they're going round again ...

Going to Manchester?
Wrong side of the Pennines.
And the M62 will be windy tonight

alicante - leeds looks like its diverting?

Bimblesalong · 21/01/2024 22:30

Faro to EMA is heading south.

Is "going around" not synonymous with "circling"? Serious question.

Tinkerbyebye · 21/01/2024 22:31

Alicante into Leeds now looks like it’s diverting elsewhere

notimagain · 21/01/2024 22:31

Moaning5 · 21/01/2024 22:08

Wonder why DHL has flown passed so many airports in France & Germany

Starter for ten since I've not been following is: where did the DHL airframe originate or where is it based?....If they have diverted and fuel isn't an issue then the simplest answer for the company in terms of logistics, recrewing etc is bring it back to base or go to a main base (being DHL it's probably a freighter so the boxes won't complain).

msmatcha · 21/01/2024 22:31

Alicante Leeds has finally given up - climbed to 15 k and diverting.

Soggydog · 21/01/2024 22:31

How can you tell how many feet it is flying at please? First time watching it and am clueless.

MassiveOvaryaction · 21/01/2024 22:31

It changed in the time I took to post that 😂

Click on the plane and it shows you the ground speed and height in feet

ohmydiddlydays · 21/01/2024 22:32

@mauvish I have learnt today that going around means coming down to land and deciding not to at a fairly late stage. So I guess circling is just going round at a static height.
